The Bad part is I took my truck in to their shop back in July 2023, the manager and I went over in detail as to what needed to be done. He gave me a price for the work that I thought was fair, I left it at the shop and the manager told me he would need a week to complete the work. One week went by and I gave him a call and he told me he was short handed and needed a few more days, I was good with that so in another week called again and same thing. Ended up being three weeks, I went to pick it up and I was pretty upset with the quality of work that was done but I needed my truck due to a vacation we had planned and had to have it to pull the RV trailer. The paint job itself looked good but the prep work was terrible, on the other hand the truck is more a work truck so I figured I would live with it as is. Now comes the Ugly part of the story, months later I was up in the bed of the truck and I noticed the roof of the cab was never repainted at all and the old clear coat had started peeling off. Now I was pissed, I drove it straight back to their shop and pointed it out to the manager. He agreed to paint it and correct the rest of the issues as well and asked that I bring it back to him on January 8th of 2024. When I took it to him on the 8th I was informed that he was no longer working their, the gentleman I was talking to informed me that he was the owner of the shop and asked me what the problem was. I pointed out all the issues and told him that to top it off the roof had not been pained at all. The owner agreed that the paint job was very poor and wanted to correct it all for me And asked if I could leave it there but it would take about a week and a half. Well I just picked it up today, February 8th. One month later I did get it back and it looks really great now. BTW, when I picked up my truck they had another truck in there that was getting a redo for the same reasons as mine, poor workmanship from when they had the MANAGER in there. The owner has been very pleasant but I am to the point that pleasant doesn't fix my vehicle. I have contacted, the chamber of commerce, better business bureau, and a lawyer. Anyone else victimized by this company needs to do the same.

Since I was flying out of town on Thursday July 31st, I called them to see if my repairs were complete. They said it would take a couple more days. I arrived back in town on Wednesday August 6th (three weeks after I originally turned in my truck) and called my wife and they said it would be done that afternoon. They called me back the afternoon of August 6th and said the repairs were complete. When I got there to pick it up, much to my surprise, when I inspected my truck, it was not finished. One of the primary pieces that was. supposed to have been replaced, the chrome step $723, had not been replaced. Yes it was on listed on the Job order/and final bill. Also, the truck had not been cleaned up and ready to drive out. They said it would take another two days. I finally got to pick it up at 4pm on Friday August 8th, 24 days after I had taken it to Sorrells body shop. The one positive note, the secretary Rose was very kind and considerate.

I am beyond dissatisfied with my experience with Atkins Liquidation Service Station. I paid more…read morethan $3,100 for an engine replacement that was represented as having a six-month warranty. Less than a month after getting my truck back, it lost all its coolant and completely broke down. 2 1/2 Months later and I STILL do not have my truck! What followed was weeks of frustration, changing explanations, missed completion dates, and conflicting promises about a loaner vehicle. I was initially told that the engine had severely overheated, but the shop later said a split radiator caused the failure. I was also told that warranty work and a loaner would not continue while my credit-card dispute remained open. I repeatedly authorized the repairs needed to make my truck operational, yet the situation continued to drag on. I live outside of town, care for my elderly brother, and had important medical appointments. Being left without transportation for weeks caused tremendous hardship, stress, and inconvenience. I expected the company to stand behind its work, communicate honestly, and resolve the problem promptly. Instead, this became an exhausting and deeply disappointing ordeal. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone.
