Scents like prosecco rose, blackberry absinthe, linden moss, crane flower,saijo persimmon, coconut milk, wood fire, yashioka gardenia, vervaine olive leaf.. I could go on and on. These are smells that are new to the senses. They make you swoon...really. I've watched other customers and they have the same reaction. Even some of the candle containers are works on art! Available in soy candles, diffusers, lotions and sprays. In addition wonderful homemade baby clothes and gifts, birthday party supplies (the kind you won't find anywhere else-gold leaf birthday candles and small circus statue holders), garden and kitchen gifts and numerous vintage items. Cant believe it took me two years to find this shop. Having raised 4 children I was never into candles or diffusers but now I'm hooked - can't leave without one, and no wonder..I no more get them home and one of my daughters has to have it. Their array of crystals, jewelry and decorative items are nicely arranged and I basically want it all! Nice staff who greeted us and were happy to answer any questions. Prices were a little higher than I was hoping but to be fair, you're in a small local shop that's in town off the beaten path. The fact that such a unique and fun shop exists in a little town like Fort Bragg is pretty cool. Definitely add them to your shopping adventures when you're in Mendocino County. They're down a side street off Main and there's plenty of free parking and other shops and cafes to visit and round out your Fort Bragg visit.

Since we don't live near they sent it to us and we are so tremendously grateful. The box was full of wonderful little goodies that we can't wait to use. We spent one of our days casually strolling the downtown part of Mendocino, and searched for businesses we just had to check out. Of course, this means finding a good bookshop. And, this one did not disappoint! Such a fantastic selection of diverse books. Such fun gift ideas and home decor knick knacks and merch stuff, too. We are so loaded up on books (think stacks on stacks on stacks), but we wanted to support this business, so we bought a big candle and some fun stickers. I highly recommend Gallery Bookshop, and I'll definitely plan to return next time we're in the area.

The owner Drea greeted me and we chatted. I ended up purchasing so many great items, including my favorite pair of lounge pants that she had saved for herself but pulled them from behind the counter and sold them to me. I almost didn't accept them but I was in love with them. So much so I came back 6 months later(I primary residence TX) and purchased 4 more pairs in different colors. During this purchase I met *Brittini. She is fabulous. Helpful bright and cheerful. Even though I am only there every 3/6 months she remembers me. I recently bought a dress that I am in with. I can't wait to go back and shop some more. The prices and variety of clothing are amazing. This is a MUST visit while in #Mendocino

It isn't thin or the cheap stuff that will get ruined in a matter of time. It's soft and really comfortable to the touch. So many choices of hooded sweaters, T-shirts, cool socks, scarves, wrist warmers, beanies and other Knick knacks. You name it they got it in here and at decent prices. New stock apparently comes in on the frequent and when that happens you'll find the old going on sale and that's asking for my pocketbook to go empty. I definitely had to hold myself back. Friendly staff nearby ready to help if there was any to be had and simply just to hold some conversation. Definitely recommend to stop by and pick something up in case you forget a warm covering along with a souvenir.

Since it was a Monday - they were closed and I was very unhappy. In previous years - before the Pandemic - I had come every year and found many great things in that store and bought a lot. I wish I can find them on the internet and shop that way. Why are they not listed on the Mendocino Merchants info? Please correct that!@ I miss the store.
