I was on my way for a family vacation when I heard about Swiss Air 111 going down near Canada. I had just been in New York and my dearest cousin was going on a humanitarian mission and was on that flight. This was in the day before cell phones and I honestly did not know who to call. So I just called her number praying someone would answer and SHE did! She told me she was in too much shock to talk about it but that I should relax because she was fine.
