We enjoyed a bite here while waiting on sunset. We had their local catch fish sandwich with Cole slaw on the side. It isn't battered fish so that in itself is different from the usual preparation of a fish sandwich but still tasty. I wish they also had fries. That would have completed it. Very rustic seating outside.

Outside tables make for a relaxing lunch overlooking the pier.

One of our favorites elements of New England is fresh seafood on a simple bench by the water ... Menemesha Fish market came highly recommended for that reason - it's on the other side of the island - tiny town with a big dock. Has a real Maine feel - brought back memories of 'the Lobster Shack right by the famous house in Cape Elizabeth outside Portland. Wife had the lobster roll which she said was 'perfect - no mayo just pure juicy lobster' and a lobster bisque so good she went back and got a second bowl. I got the 'sunset special' that was a full lobster, crab cake and a stuffed scallop - which the staff graciously customized from the original offering. I'll admit I was getting a little impatient waiting since simpler dishes were served quicker but I was reminded that fresh lobster takes 20 minutes and they delivered it in 18. The staff was friendly and forgiving of my ignorance. The lobster was fresh and easy to take apart. The crab cakes were lightly coated but the crab taste carried through. The stuffed scallop was a little spicy for my taste - but that's just me. Well worth the trip to Memesha!

This was a favorite on Cape Cod. We loved everything about our visit, so we came back twice. The experience starts with getting there... the whole micro area on the beach & marina feels idyllic. We rode bikes from another part of the island, so this felt like an oasis at the end of a long ride. Walking into the perfectly weather & time worn store feels like the Cape Cod I envisioned, sandy and listening to Carly Simon songs. Service is friendly & the food is excellent. We loved sitting on the wooden reels in the sunshine, facing the marina. We tried many of the take away offerings. We thought this was the best lobster bisque. We came back for full lobsters & BYOB. Worth noting is the excellent quality & variety of souvenir sweatshirts, towels, etc. I bought a couple to remember the perfect East Coast ambiance of this place. Seriously an inspiring little spot, worthy of books and movies and salty characters.

Clam chowder was super creamy and delicious. Definitely try some if you are in the area! There's not a lot of seating, just one or two tables by the water so it's more of a pick up & go kind of place.

This cute little spot in Martha's Vineyard has a great lobster roll and a good clam chowder if you prefer it less thick. Fun atmosphere and limited outdoor seating is available.

Delicious lobster roll that was fresh and full of flavor. The service was efficient and quick, and the view is beautiful!

Well let me tell ya... if you want great tasting hot soup. Try the lobster bisque, it excellent. try the clam chowder it's mmmmmm... been coming every day for a week.. they have a lot of deals on seafood. They also have souvenir shirts and sweat shirts and hats and other items. Ok ok ok... went back today and got the steamers... 1 # ain't enough, they are Devine, they were definitely awesome... I would recommend minimum 2#s to 5#s they are that good... Be prepared to eat in car or outside. Or take the bags home and eat at home.... It is a great experience I will not forget.... Thanks, from the mountains of North Carolina.

My five pounder. Perfectly cooked. My wife had a two pounder. Enough left over for many lobster omelettes tomorrow am!

Another great lobster dinner. We went with a 2 and a 5 pounder. A tradition every summer.

Fresh caught fish for purchase right off the dock! Also, if you're hungry, why not have it steamed and enjoy it immediately while sitting on the bench and taking in the serene water? Stopped by this cute market during a tour and really appreciated this stop for freshly steamed fish! I don't think I've ever had such freshly steamed fish before....it's makes a huge difference as it literally melted in my mouth. Great experience.

Still our favorite spot! They have a fish cake that they make with rice flour that is so good. Can't stop eating them this summer.

The lobster roll was delicious. It's a nice size for 1 person and won't fill you up. If you are a big eater, you should do their lobster roll and lobster bisque soup. Son loved the grilled cheese. The lady (Australian) who works here was really nice and followed up on my order. A great place to pick up some good seafood and eat on the beach. There were a lot of people ordering and waiting for food (after 1 PM) so that's a good sign.

Unfortunately, I was met with an absolutely atrocious attitude from the young lady who served me today. I asked for two whole filets of Arctic Char from the back cooler instead of the two in the front case. Why? Well, the real answer is that it doesn't matter why...I'm the customer paying nearly $60 for fish and if that's what I want, then the correct answer is a smile and a "no problem, let me go get that for you!" Instead, what I got was a look of utter contempt and an "I mean, what's the difference?" sarcastic reply with one palm raised up to emphasize just how ridiculous my request was. When she returned with the fish, I said "just FYI, all that should matter is that I'm the customer (paying top dollar for a premium product), maybe I'm just a bit OCD." Her response, again with that famous Gen-Z contempt, was "I mean, there's no difference, we just brought it (the fish in the case) out, but anyways, I got you your fish." She just didn't get it. The owner overheard everything and chimed in "all of our fish is fresh here, you don't need to worry about that." Yeah, I know that it's a good product, it's why I shop here, but if my unique brain feels better about having it brought out from the back cooler, why should that merit even a drop of bad attitude?! I told the owner, "I just shouldn't have to explain myself," he retorted "you didn't" and I told him "no, actually I did." So basically, I went in looking forward to a nice experience and left feeling really irritated. Sometimes when I'm passing through Westport, I stop by Westport Lobster Company. I always ask for my fish from the back...and all that I ever get is a smile and a "sure, no problem, let me get that for you." I prefer to spend money in my own town, but I'm not going back to this place and neither is my wife...We don't need to be rewarding rudeness with our hard-earned dollars.

Unfortunately our stay in Tiverton was brief--I love seafood and wish I had the time to try their other offerings. The products on display looked excellent.
