This place has really gone downhill. As much as I used to like this beach restaurant, I have to say that I can no longer recommend eating here. Everything that was good about this beach bar/restaurant has changed for the worse, except the view. First off, the restaurant was razed by the city, so that's not the bar's fault. The space on the beach is now just a bunch of tents with tables and has lost all its charm. They do their cooking in their building across the street, which also is part of the restaurant, but sits far from the beach. Because of the distance, your food always arrives not-so-hot, if not cold. The cooking has also suffered--nothing is as good, and some food is just awful. I had lobster tails and my wife ordered lobster stew, and all of the lobster was really overcooked. I was like eating rubber. No only that, but the food was absolutely flavorless.
