Got told by a friend this was the best Mexican restaurant in Killeen. So me and the wife ate here for the first time today. Place wasn't packed and got seated very quickly. Salsa and chips were a good start, and service was great our food came out fast and fresh. I haven't had a Chile Relleno plate in forever and it was amazing. Perfectly fried with a great amount of cheese in the middle, plus more cheese on top with hot salsa. My wife loved her carne asada plate, the rice and beans were delicious. She the meat was a tad tough, but had a great flavor. Only issue I had was the tortillas tasted like they were store bought. Overall a great place with great food. read more

Usually good food. At clear creek Tonight a disaster. Burritos not wrapped at all, The refried beans were actually hard with a tough crust on it. Guy at window looked overwhelmed and unsure but the "unfried"$12 spent on fried ice cream utterly ridiculous $50 of food was inedible will probably not be coming back. Been here 7 years but never tried this place. Went and the waitress recommended the tacos, and they were so good I have been back at least 3xs in the past two weeks. The food is really good here! I had the Beef Chimichanga. The problem I encountered is with the service. When I walked in I waited about 5 minutes to be seated. That may not sound like a long time, but when there are only about 2 or 3 tables occupied and the rest of the restaurant is empty, it should not take that long to be seated. A server saw me standing there and proceeded to clean a couple of tables before he came to seat me. I placed my order and my food came out quickly and it was delicious! I waited a good while with an empty drink glass. My server never came to check in on me after my food came. I had to ask another server who was serving the table near me to get MY server so I could ask her for a drink refill. Again, she had no other tables to serve since there was only 1 other table by this time and they were being served by someone else. Again, I had to ask the other server to get MY server so I could ask for my check. Minimum tip is all I can say! read more

we love meno's and are frequent visitors. We usually come here every weekend and normally enjoy our experience as maria is usually our server. Which is why today was so disappointing. The service we received was awful. Our server never refilled our drinks, never checked on us during the meal, and never came back after we finished eating. We sat there for about 25 minutes waiting, with dirty plates still on the table, no boxes, and no bill. We finally had to stop another server just to get checked out. It's frustrating because we are regular customers and expect at least basic attentiveness. We love this restaurant, but today's service really missed the mark. read more

I always love the breakfast here so I frequent this location. The Latin music and decorations make the experience just that much better. My server today was Maribel and she always remembers who I am and always provides the best service. Today I orders the migas rancheras plate. Though breakfast is hard to get wrong they did everything right. Huge portions and always hot. My overall assessment of this establishment is 5 out of 5. Now the food, I was already on the fence based off reviews but my sister ashored me the food was good. I got 1 birria toco and it was the worse so much so I didn't eat it. It did not taste or look like any birria I've had before. The birria juice did not look appealing at all either. ( see photo) however they do give a lot of meat. My house margaritta was watered down, more like fruity sugar water. The type to leave you with a headache. I did not finish it. My sister got something (see photo) that had steak, beans, rice and something else. She enjoyed her food. Good thing was food did come fast. I gave two stars for Laura.
