Well, I definitely just had one of the best haircuts of my life thanks to Marissa! Not only did my cut turn out fantastic, but the staff were friendly, I got to watch the baseball game, the place was impeccable and I didn't have to wait since I made an appointment online. I got there and they were ready for me! They also had a fantastic product selection. I wear Ruezel products and most of the places I've gone to just don't carry them (they also recommended a new product for me). I wouldn't even consider going back to a great clips or sports clips after coming here. Also, hot towel massage! This has been a tough time for all with very little moments where you can have a genuine smile. I went for my first hair cut in almost three months, and I was happy to book my haircut with Mykelti. She is by far the best stylist and the most consistent that I have had at Mug. I've been a long time client of Mug and Mykelti has been cutting my hair for over a year. This place is an absolute joke. Do not waste your time going there unless you're a 12 year old kid with nothing but time. I've been to this location a few times. Had a below average haircut one time and I stopped going. Was in desperate need of a last minute haircut on a Saturday and decided to give them another shot with a new stylist named Cali. Tried booking an appointment online and was unable to do so due to a very lengthy complex process. I couldn't remember my password for my login (you cannot book an online appointment without creating an online account which is a real pain). I processed with password reset which the email never came for some reason. Called in and was told the first available appointment was at noon (30 minutes from when I called). I headed there and arrived 10 minutes prior to my appointment time. When I walked in, I was greeted with an unpleasant Yelp from a girl saying "appointment?" I told her yes and gave my name. Her response was "I'm running a few minutes behind" and she walked away. I could clearly see that the kid maybe 12 years old sitting in her chair was just beginning his cut. I knew i was a few minutes early so I was ok with it. I was also 12 once and remember my haircuts being pretty brief. Come to find out, Cali was not just running a "few minutes behind". She Over 30 minutes late to when I finally got up and left before she even finished this kids cut. She was taking her sweet time while people poured into the salon getting cuts and leaving while I sat there watching one of the slowest stylist cut a 12 year old kids hair on a busy Saturday. Needless to say, I should have known better than to give them another shot. Again, if you have all day to sit around and wait 30 minutes after your schedule appointment time, then maybe this place is good for you. But I can tell you their prices are not cheap enough to warrant the crappy service and wait times. Cali was disrespectful and didn't seem to care she was wasting my time. I'm a busy individual and that's why I schedule appointments as opposed to walking into a barber shop. read more

Went to MUG for the first time today and loved it!! Got the best hair cut I have ever gotten and my hair is very difficult to cut and I'm admittedly very particular about how it is cut. Holly did a great job understanding what I wanted and how I wanted to look and even help me change a few things up to make sure I looked my best. I've been here 3 times. 2 of the times I got a good haircut, but they weren't the best hair cuts I've received. This lays time I came in I asked the darker skinned lady (I did not catch her name) for a two on the sides and a little trim on top, a bit longer than finger length on top since I part my hair and comb it to the left. What I asked for and what I received were two very different hair cuts. I wanted to get a haircut because I have a very important job interview coming up so I wanted to look and feel confident. I ended up receiving a haircut that forced me to spike my hair in the front (which was not what I asked for, and is not my style.) I did not ask for a 6 year old boy haircut, if I wanted that style haircut I would of gone to kids cuts.. would not recommend this hair stylist to anyone. read more

I usually have a great experience here but just today I was late to my scheduled appointment. I knew I would likely have to rebook or fine a different location as they couldn't squeeze me in so I called the establishment to let them know and see what was possible. I spoke with Gina on the phone who told me it would need to be rebooked but I told her, calmly and without attitude mind you, that I need to get in somewhere today unfortunately. She said come on in and they can squeeze me in between appointments. I drove 45 minutes from work to the location and as soon as I get there they tell me there is a 5 minute late policy where they can't take me today and would have to be rescheduled. I told her what Gina told me which was why I headed here anyway and she didn't care and said store policy, doesn't matter what someone from the store told you on the phone. Meanwhile 2 stylists were in the salon and not a single customer. I explained I left work to get here with the understanding I would be squeezed in even if I had to wait or I wouldn't have came at all. Not a single care and she pushed me off. I have been a long time customer here but now it's time to fine a new establishment. My caution to you all would be don't be late by 5 minutes or more, they won't care even if they tell you otherwise on the phone. read more
