I'm glad I braved the 1star reviews and went anyway. The store was staffed with college age guys, which initially had me wary. In this day and age it is very hard to find people in this age bracket that understand how to provide good customer service. However, I was pleasantly surprised! Colton, my consultant, went above and beyond to find the best fitting suit for the best price for me. It was a great experience. He and the other in the store were friendly and helpful. I even got the pants hemmed quickly by their seamstress, even though it was close to closing time. Would come here again. read more

I took my 5 year old to get fitted. Instead of telling me there were tuxes for sale for $79 they proceeded to charge me a deposit to rent one for $181. When I called to cancel is when I found out. If you need a child's tux I ordered mine on zulily for 35$. DO NOT GO HERE my brother, the GROOM, did not get a tux that fits. He looks like MC Hammer. Luckily he renter a back up. Who should have to rent two tuxes for their wedding? Men's wear house is incapable. You seriously have one job, it's to measure people and provide customer service. Not okay. read more

I tried to cancel a transaction on a pair of pants that were waiting to be trimmed. I called a few minutes after the store opened and spoke to a man who said he understood the problem and would take care of it. After a few hours of not receiving a refund I called back and the pants were already tailored and they said I had to pay for them. Pretty terrible service if you ask me I would definitely not recommend shopping here. read more

I've never been a fan of their customer service here. Our last visit to this retailer was by far the worst ever, and I will never step foot into the Bismarck Men's Wearhouse again. We went to this location interested in utilize their tuxedo rental service. After being told their computers were down, understandable in this day and age, we went through spending the limited amount of we had picking out selections of tuxes. They took down our information and order details. Next we were asked to take pictures of the order form as "papers get misplaced." We were told their computers would be up and running the next day and that our details and info would be entered and we would get a call when it was done. A day went by, two, three, etc. After a week went by, I called the store to see what the status was, I was led on a paper trail chase. After spending 20 minutes on hold waiting for them to track down the papers, a woman came back on the phone and said there were no papers there. She then proceeded to ask me if I dialed the right store, before I could answer I got a comment that set me off. " You know the one in Bismarck? Bismarck, North Dakota?" I hung up the phone in a rage! I went down to store immediately following the phone call. I asked for the manager, just so happens she was the one who initially filled out the original paperwork. She assured me that her staff could not have been on the phone. I answered with "seems strange to me that I dialed a Bismarck number and the phone was answers Men's Wearhouse Bismarck." After the insults, tedious waiting, unprofessionalism, and waste of time. The manager asked if I wanted to go ahead and put down the deposits for the suits she probably didn't have a clue which ones, as she couldn't even remember who I was. Needless to say, I highly encourage people to CHOOSE A DIFFERENT men's apparel store. read more

I was a customer of Men's Wearhouse for the past 18 years. When I retired from the Army I bought my first suit from them and have been a "raving" fan for many years. Since then I've purchased many clothing items. However, that all changed here in Bismarck on June 2017. I recently bought 4 suits for work. Two of them were the Joseph Abboud suits and two were two different brands. The Abboud suits were fine, however, the other two were terrible. I told the salesperson when I bought them they don't look right. He ironed them and they looked Ok at best. I took them home with me which was my first mistake. I trusted salesperson. I sent them to the cleaners and they just couldn't keep a press and they looked terrible. I took them back and they said they would have the tailor take a look at them. They never called to me let me know what they thought so I went to the store. The salesperson pressed them and they still looked terrible. He talked to the tailor and the tailor said they had been washed. Really, those two suits looked terrible when I picked them up, they looked terrible when I sent them to the cleaners and oh by the way they were sent in with the other two Abboud suits and for some reason the two Abboud suits looked fine and yet the other two didn't. This was the real kicker, I was told that they had been washed in a washing machine and that's why they looked the way they did. Really, a washing machine. I guess it's possible, highly unlikely. So I'm essentially stuck with 2 suits which totaled over $700.00 and I'm told I washed them. Needless to say I was and still am upset. Not a response from them while I was there and shared with them my frustration and I haven't heard a word from them since. I would Never, and I mean Never, buy from them again nor will I ever tell people that they should go there. A great example of poor customer service and an organization that has lost its way...............Here's the latest I sent an email to corporate and received an email saying they contacted the store manager and that she would contact me. My fiance and I recently bought 14 suits from Men's Wearhouse for our upcoming wedding. We had one sent to Store #4152 in Bismarck, ND thinking this would be a non-issue since we had already purchased all the suits. However, our groomsman went in to the store where he was told the suit hadn't arrived. We tracked it down and it had in fact been in the store. The groomsman went back a second time, after we located the suit and was rudely told it wasn't there. My fiance called the store and was assured the suit was there by someone else. Our groomsman is now making a third trip to this store to get the suit. In addition, the groomsman asked to be fitted for a shirt so we could place the order ourselves for all of the mens shirts to give them as a gift. The employees working refused to fit him because, "he wasn't buying the shirt from that store". The staff at this location have treated us with nothing but rudeness and hostility. To say we are disappointed is an understatement. I would not recommend this store to anyone. They clearly need some training in customer service. read more

Miserable experience every time. I wish we had more of a selection of men's stores in Bismarck. Every time we go in to make a purchase for our wedding, the store is understaffed. The salesmen won't even make eye contact or say "someone will be with you shortly". We have stood in the store for a half hour without anyone saying anything at all to us. They need to be better staffed and better trained in customer service. We have just resorted to ordering online. read more
