Events - See their website. 24 hour parking lot, charges by the minute. Max charge: 30 Euros. Service - Self service. Overall good service from the shops and businesses. We loved…read morestrolling along the water and the businesses (many shops, restaurants and cafes) as well as watching the nice yachts, boats and ships on the water. The complex has become one of the great commercial landmarks of Malaga. In Muelle Uno there is a megayacht marina, the Pompidou Center and commercial establishments such as Lacoste, Hugo Boss or Primor and restaurants such as Burger King, KFC or 100 Montaditos. Near Muelle Uno are also the Palmeral de las Sorpresas, the Parque de Málaga and the Farola. Muelle Uno was inaugurated in November 2011 and is part of a plan to integrate the port of Malaga with the city. It has great shady areas as well as many benches. Bus 14 connects this part of town with the historic center and the rest of the city.

El Corte Ingles is actually the largest department store group in Europe El Corte Ingles means the English cut as in tailor's cut. I'm not sure as to the link but I did spot some Union Jacks in the store window I didn't really look round the other sections of the store but headed to the supermarket to stock up the fridge in my hotel room with lovely Spanish freshly squeezed orange juice - you can truly taste he wonderful sunshine in every drop Though I knew I coudn't cook anything fresh, I still couldn't resist a look round at the fresh food counters. Amazing seafood with octopi, squid and some interesting looking snails and winkles. There were sweetbreads at the butcher's, which I've not seen for sale to the public in the UK though you get them on restaurant menus. I did indulge in some Iberico ham which I had freshly sliced at the deli counter - so much cheaper than in the UK I had a lovely time browsing in here - this is my kind of window shopping!

In turn I ended up with it slipping and pouring coffee over the table. Ordered a chicken burger which came with mushrooms and onions laid on top which really didn't look very appertizing covered in oil & grease. The chicken was re-constituted meat and not worth the money. McDonald's would of been far better and my dog would of turned his nose up. My wife left half of her chicken salad which was really quite bland & we even found a small bone in it. When we mentioned this to the waitress she wasn't at all bothered. Maximum profit with the smallest out lay came to mind! I expected a lot better and came away disappointed considering the money we spent in El Corte Ingles this week. If your thinking this is the place to eat don't bother as you may well feel unwell after. I would only recommend the clothes to be fair as they have a large selection to choose from.

Located in the main shopping area of Torremolinos Manferca's is a wonderful shop full of bargains…read moregalore. The front of the shop is all glass windows crammed with shoes and boots. It takes ages to browse here alone. Then comes the task of going inside and finding a sales assistant to then take back to the window and show them the shoes you wish to try on. The shop front disguises the rabbit warren that is this shop. Once you have walked down and inside the shop stretches quite a long way back and it os here that you will find more shoes and loads of clothes, which are also really cheap. Even though I don't speak Spanish the sales assistants have always understood what I have been after and were always really friendly. I have bought loads of pairs of shoes from here and they have all lasted me ages, even though they have been really cheap. Manfercas is definitely one of the best things in Torremolinos.
