What a beautiful campus…read more Came here for a conference and it was so refreshing to be on a campus that wasn't over 50 years old. The campus opened around 2005 and still looks brand new. Their fields, buildings, and lakes are all pretty. I went to the bookstore and got a pendant for my collection. I hope they keep up the beauty and appearance of the campus as years go on.

As an educator for 27 years, I cannot stress this enough...DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL…read more There is absolutely nothing to do at this school. The town is too far away to be of any use (not that it's a great college town anyway, but at least it has a sandwich shop). There are no clubs, no activities, no reason to be there. I may get some flack about some small random club, but you can compare their website to any other university and judge for yourself. Students returning state they hate it. It's just a money grab. My son slipped into major depression there, sought help and was told by a counselor "you will never beat your depression". How incredibly F-up is that?!? I took it with a grain of salt, that it was his interpretation of the situation, but ultimately made the call to drive down at midnight and pull his ass out of there. Glad I did, got him the help that he really needed. Just talked to a former student that went there this semester, same story, so I'm writing this review. So parents, be very aware, you are going to have to check on your child's well being often. I would not trust anything about this campus, and it's their own doing. Please listen to them and don't be afraid to pull them out.

I recently graduated from this college & it's the best decision I've made! All great experiences…read morefrom all the teachers & staff! Mrs. Mora & Ms. Furbay were my favorite! I was in the medical assistant program & the Dean helped me switch from night time classes to day classes very quickly at my request, it was something that was in my best interest at the time & she was so helpful & would always get back to me! After externship I got hired on at the extern site! My career advisor Yannet is the best! She helped me with getting me ready for graduation along with securing my job from extern! Highly recommend SJVC/CARRINGTON College! If you're even considering enrolling, just do it! I just opened a new chapter in my life in the healthcare industry & I don't regret it!

Do not go here unless you want to waste your money and time. You will not get a job as easy as they…read moresay especially since every one attending the school gets their resumes sent out to same places as yours. You will be paying for a certificate and a training card with no real knowledge as you hardly do any training or book work. It's harder if you work a full time job as well. You are better off getting a degree from community college or just trying to get a job and everything else in your own. I am now in debt and haven't been able to get a reliable electrical job that pays enough to cover these tuition payments/federal loans.

This makes it hard to prove you're a student. It's virtually impossible to get discounts with a .edu address! Otherwise, it's a great school. Cabrillo College is a small community college located in Santa Cruz County. This particular site…read more(located in Watsonville) is a satellite office for the main campus which is located on Soquel drive in Santa Cruz. Every time I've been to the satellite office I'm always greeted with a smile and a friendly attitude. The employees are not only very pleasant but very knowledgeable about the enrollment process and any forms that you might need to fill out and submit. There are small tables for currently enrolled students and prospective students to use in the lobby. There are computers to use to sign up for classes in the lobby and in the student services department. The lines for assistance are usually shorter at the satellite office that they are the main campus. I like that... It's a quick in and out process. If you're looking to further your education... Cabrillo college is a good community college choice and a good place to begin. I highly recommend that you use the Watsonville satellite office for enrollment if you live in that area!
