Mercedes is on a different level! Literally. 4 or 5 floors, I can't remember but you take these cool little lifts to the top floor and work your way down. I love museums and especially car museums when the earliest designs are only slightly better than walking with an 8kmph top speed! The top is the early vehicles and you walk down to get what resembles a vehicle. Then as you descend, note and note recognizable vehicles. Also, kudos to both, Porsche and Mercedes-Benz for not skipping history (looking at you 30s-40s) regardless of the travesties, it's part of their history. Meanwhile the US is trying to erase their not so stellar histories. But I digress. If you love cars AND history, you could literally spend an entire day looking at the development of various MB cars, busses, engine cutaways, and more. 100% recommend if you're in Stuttgart. Bonus points for a Cars and Coffee event going on during our visit. Love seeing people living older cars and preserving history!

Im ballpark erwartet einen dann eine wirklich gute Baseball Erfahrung, klar, nicht zu vergleichen mit den USA aber es ist und bleibt halt ne Rand-Sportart in Deutschland. Es gibt sogar einen eigenen merchandise Shop. Einziger Wermutstropfen ist, es dauert ewig bis man was zu trinken oder zu essen bekommt, das können entspannt 4 innings werden. I had the most fun looking at the rooftops of all of the booths. Food was mediocre for the most part, and there wasn't anything special on offer. We had garlic bread and mushrooms that honestly weren't even eating. Expect to find all the same old, same old Christmas Market foodstuffs (fried potatoes, potato pancakes, dipped marshmallows, etc.). Since so many famous car manufacturers are located in town, there's a free walkthrough light display in an adjacent park. It's fun, but is basically a light-up ad for cars, LOL.

Trinkets. Baubles for decorating your Christmas tree. Spices. Candles. Hats and gloves. Carved wooden toys. Candies. I have a new cashmere scarf (it was COLD!), some cookies, some fancy chocolates and a lot of memories. Stuttgart is a big city and the size of the market reflects it. Lots of people. Lots of food.
