Upon bringing my son to his off-campus house & seeing the uninhabitable condition it was left in by the previous tenants, I refused to let him stay there. Knowing it needed a thorough, deep cleaning well beyond our ability, I put out some feelers through Yelp. Bryana responded & her price was great, DESPITE my multiple warnings of the horrid condition i.e., bugs, dirt, rotting food & garbage left festering for months, that did not faze her. She set the price & scheduled her top cleaner Shakira, for 9 am the next day - less then 18 hours after my call. Shakira showed up early & ready to go with all her own supplies. We reviewed what needed to get done, she assured me that nothing would be even the slightest issue and she got to work, removing at least 3 years worth of filth from every surface. And all the while, she did it with a smile on her face! 6 hours later, when she was ready to leave, the house was truly sparkling! None of us could believe the difference and as a mother, I could finally unpack my son & his roommates comfortably & happily. I look forward to using her service monthly for "maintenance" so it NEVER returns to the condition we originally saw. I've met so many qualified cleaners, like Kainalee, Sai, Kendall, and even an employee who also organizes the cleanings and quality control, Jadie. The manager, Debra, has reached out to me to check on the quality of her clearinghouse of cleaners, and I am left impressed. The day after Kainalee has mopped the floors, you know it's been twenty four hours. The day after Sai left the bathroom, you could see the typical stains return to their locations. The day after Kendall finished her assignment, I felt clean knowing they are grateful we ask for their help in the first place. It is a difficult and humble job to clean, just ask those birds who clean between the teeth of hippopotamus. However, I think Merry Maids and I know: we profit from setting the world straight to a client's needs, as it is innately rewarding. They can do more than mop and sweep of course, each room I've asked for cleaning will have a different cleaners agency and expertise applied. Kainalee organized the toys in my children's room, she and Sai set our bathrooms' shelves in order, and Jadie and Kendall left our play space ready to get messy. They can also organize, and maybe just any order is good to start from. Reading my review after any of the others, it makes me wonder what has happened in seven or eight years. The cleaners I've met usually arrived within a reasonable window of within the workday, if I don't get an early reschedule message in the day. There's no way cleaners can rush a job, you basically need their quote the day they arrive to review and start work. Get regular cleaning schedules instead to get peace of mind, as it will take one task off your shelf for a fair price.
