You couldn't taste the pepper or the calamari but you could taste the salt!. It was bathed in it. It was truly disgusting. Usually a group of us go there for dinner every couple of months and the food is without fault. The gym is v small with a couple of cv machines. The "queen" bed was 2 twins pushed together so as always I slept on one side to avoid the discomfort of the middle join. No way the room would be comfortable for 2 people in a twin anyway... it was a lot smaller than the photos suggested. I dont know why hotels don't actually provide what the website says... do they think we wont notice the room isn't spacious? On the upside, the tv experience is excellent with big screen & good fox stations. The pasta room service was good as were the poached eggs at breakfast ... the bacon left in the bain marie was leather tough like most of the rest of the brekkie. On the other hand, the shower was hot & the towels were good in the room. Drop the price & it would get 3 stars... as it is this hotel is below par.

Reasonably priced valet car parking, very comfortable king size bed and friendly staff made our stay very easy. We had a bathroom with the shower over the bath, but I assume they are upgrading, as we have not had previously. If this is an issue it might be wise to mention it when you book.
