Here lies one of my least favorite Mercury Drug branches ever. It's straight up a pharmacy, and maybe I've been spoiled by larger, almost-grocery store Mercury Drugs, but when I think of a drugstore, I just want... more than drugs.
This branch is tiny and attached to the Shopwise compound. It's often cramped and full, and the people who patronize it seem to be pretty rude. Falling in line should be mandatory, but not here. Not even the guards tell people to line up properly and wait their turn, so I get pretty irritable when I have to work against my own manners and push to the front of the counter just to get my order in.
Unsurprisingly, the pharmacists here are also irritable and not always helpful. They will do what is required of them, but they won't have the motivation to do it well or go beyond what their contracts probably state. In short, don't expect cheaper suggestions here when your usual drugs are out of stock. They'll tell you it is but won't help you further than that if you don't ask.
They don't sell junkfood and nail polish here like they do in other Mercury Drugs, but then again it IS right next to Starbucks, Jollibee, and Shopwise, so unless you're super lazy, that won't be much of a caveat.
The location is convenient though, so points for that. read more
