I've gotten my lashes done at other places before and never had any issues I know the proper care and the precautions I need to take in order for my lashes to last. However this was a last minute appointment because I had a flight to catch later that night. I wanted to get a hybrid set for my vacation and I knew the appointment would be around 2 hours. When my set was finished I noticed the time and it took almost 3 hours for a set that didn't look hybrid at all. It looked more like a classic set. I didn't have time to sit there more hours and have her fix it so I paid and left. Hours later I got to my vacation destination and combed out my lashes only to see they were flaky and falling out in chunks. I was beyond livid when I noticed my lashes falling off when it hadn't even been 24 hours since getting them done. I messaged Liz and heard no response yet and I requested my money back. This is so unacceptable and I'm very disappointed with the service considering the high class salon this is. This ruined my vacation and I will not be returning. I hope I hear back from Liz soon and get my refund.

I called my original lash tech and she indicated that the lashes that Liz put on me were bunches up too much and plugged up my lash follicles. The staff who answer the phones and the ladies at the front desk were very rude and unprofessional. You can tell by their tone of voice that they aren't welcoming, and one staff member kept giving me unfriendly looks the entire time. I also didn't appreciate having the phone hung up on during one of my calls. Another issue was that I specifically requested an appointment with a dermatologist, but I was scheduled with a physician assistant (PA) instead. While PAs play an important role in patient care, they are not the same as a dermatologist, and I should have been informed of that difference before my appointment. The doctors and management really need to pay closer attention to how patients are being treated at this location. A person's words and tone matter. The same message can be delivered respectfully or disrespectfully, and unfortunately, I did not feel respected during my experience.

The changing room was cute. The place was very cutesy. The bed was comfortable for my back. The products smelled wonderful and the hand/arm and foot massage were nice! The room ambience was calm. The view of my scalp on the magnifying screen was cool. The overall length of service was nice and Angela was sweet. Cons: The Velcro robe was uncomfortable, I'm a "more to love body type", I had to leave it unlatched, but good thing there was a blanket. She also had a cool weighted blanket if you wanted. Although, I would have preferred a towel. Angela wore gloves, in which I understand, but I felt it took away from the experience. I could hear the gloves in my ear. However, I understand if she wanted to use gloves on my feet, but not my head. My body wasn't fully relaxed because I felt like if I let my arms down, they would fall off the bed. The hair/scalp scrub was nice, but not enough pressure. The water was pretty hot on my head and I wasn't asked, but I also didn't let her know either. So, that was my fault. There was no water wand, but a hand hose was used. It kept rubbing on the plastic bucket, so there was a bunch of noise, not to mention the plastic drawers opening and closing behind my head. I felt the noise took away from the quiet relaxing experience. Angela used some sort of water pump and the water smelled like plastic. She had to dump the buckets of used water every few minutes. She had to get up to get products every few seconds, so maybe some more organizing/prepping was needed. She did a bit of head massaging/scrubbing and pressure points, but still, not enough pressure or enough overall. I feel like she was trying to get to the next step without putting love into the first step. She used maybe 3 different brushes on my head, one being the battery operated scalp massager, the others were maybe 2 brushes. I was expecting more scalp stimulation I guess. I was thinking maybe a wooden comb or a metal pronged scalp massager. It's similar to the videos you see on social media, but not 100%. She blow dried my hair a tiny bit, but when I had gotten up my wet hair slapped my back lol. I paid $170; which I feel was fair for the length ( maybe 1 hr 30 min) but not the experience. I feel I get more out of a $45 60 min Asian massage. Overall: I wouldn't go back or recommend to anyone for a scalp spa here. I think there needs to be some more development for it to be considered a Japanese Scalp Spa.
