Karmen met me at the hair salon bright and early on the wedding day to capture every getting ready moment between my 11 bridesmaids and myself. She was then with us the entire day with the exception of a quick lunch break. Having such a large bridal party, I had a concern that I would field questions resulting in unnecessary stress. When the day came, I felt more calm than I could have expected and I owe a big portion of that to Karmen. She has a nature about her that not only was she the photographer catching every moment of the day, she was a buffer for anyone coming to talk with me which I appreciated more than she will know. Ben was prompt with meeting my husband at the church and caught incredible candid shots between he and his groomsman. The formal shots turned out exactly as we had hoped, but the candid moments they photographed throughout the entire day are our absolute favorites. They understand people and know just when to take the picture. With the day being as busy as it was, they snapped shots of moments we had no idea were occurring and that is truly priceless to us. We also decided to add the photo booth option to our package which was one of the best decisions we made. The guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves while giving my husband and I a wonderful take away. We never heard from her. Upon reaching out again she apologized and stated she had a death in the family. But indicated she'd still do our session as scheduled. It is the day of the session and we have emailed,texted, called and tried to reach on various social media and have heard nothing. She has completely ghosted us with our money and a signed contract. We feel hurt and disappointed and upset by this level of unprofessionalism. While we understand things happen we just wanted to have communication and know if she needed to cancel due to a family situation. We would have understood. This was unacceptable.
