I have been coming to Mesa Dental for many years now. I recently had a long gap in the last visit and needed an extra thorough cleaning. Dr. Mann's team is always the sweetest most welcoming bunch. My cleaning was done by Majet who was extremely detail oriented and made sure not to miss a spot. My teeth are looking and feeling much better. They even got a little stain off my front tooth that had been bothering me. Initially, I was worried as Dr. Mann's comments did not instill confidence in me that the procedure I was about to have done (a crown) would be a success, due to the fact that apparently I've got the smallest mouth she's ever seen with cheeks that flush right up against my teeth. Full disclosure that I have an anxiety disorder which makes things hard but doubly going to a dentist due to some bad experiences, but Dr. Mann and her assistants are always very kind and gentle. They will be straightforward with you (which is a quality I definitely appreciate) and don't push you into things that are elective, they will work with your plan of care instead of pushing procedures you may not want. The office is clean, and the staff respect their patients' time. The receptionist, Donna, is also very kind and patient and genuinely makes the payment , insurance, and scheduling so much easier as she really takes the time to help you through it. A great staff that in turn doesn't make me cry at the thought of having to go to the dentist, and that's huge for me. Absolutely love the care I get here. read more

Dr. Mann was very rough and pretty rude, it seemed as if she used her drill tool too much; I am aware it is called an instrument in the medical field, but it did feel like she was just using powertools. My lips feel torn and bruised and my mother said it looked like I'd just been punched in the face when I left. I've had a lot of negative medical experiences, but this is definitely in the top 10 worst. Actually comparable in pain scale to when the ER nurses messed up on tapping into my oncology port when I was in cancer treatment. And they called me jumpy, I wonder why. My family and I have been going to Mesa Dental, led by Dr. Mann, for over three years, and we have never had a bad experience with her or her staff. There is me (25) my mom (50's) my dad (70's) and my sister (teenager). They get you out of the waiting room and into the back very quickly if you have an appointment ahead of time. Their office has a lot of natural light and very clean, there are big bay windows where you can see numerous bird and hummingbird feeders. They always take care of me and make sure I am comfortable, I would recommend their services to anyone living in or near the North West Hills neighborhood (78731) in Austin, Texas.
