So for the mid west it's pretty good but at 7.50 come on man. This is 5.50 max in the heart of manhattan. Crazy pricing Staff was disinterested

Stumbled upon this bagel shop on a Sunday morning and was blown away at how great the bagels are. I have officially declared them the best bagels in KC. To make it even better, they serve Roasterie coffee, a most superior product. Huge selection of bagels, schemers, and butters to choose from. the staff was so kind, patient and very friendly. Very cute decor and I will definitely go back.

The bagels are outstanding. Good chew to them and a decent amount of cream cheese. I usually prefer an egg sandwich, but they don't have eggs. The nova salmon and cream cheese bagel was good enough that I forgot all about it. Would definitely stop in again if I'm back in the area. Coffee was good, too. Super cute decor and friendly service, even better than I hoped.

Perfect spot to grab a bagel and coffee near the convention center area. I got a toasted salt bagel with garlic dill cream cheese and it was very yummy. Coffee was freshly brewed and strong.

The bagel was chewy and very good! Thick layers of cream cheese. The ambiance is super cute! We had to grab and go but it seemed like a great spot to work or catch up with a friend.

Let me start with: I would recommend it and would come back. Go try this place! It's got a great chance of making it. Following are my observations and persnickety feedback. First off, the bagels were wonderful along with their selection of schmears. Some feedback: We were not asked if we would like them toasted...not sure if it's an option. If it is not an option, they need to move forward with that. Additionally, none of the bagel types are labeled in the case, so the customer has no idea what they are looking at other than an assortment of bagels. The staff could be more personable as an extension of the comfortable, casual atmosphere. They were not rude, just not overly helpful either. Maybe they are new to service and a bit shy. Ambiance... Wonderful! Great job to whoever designed this place! My background and formal training are in interior design, fine arts, branding, and graphic design. This place it on the right track in this department. Antique showcases, flow blue china on the walls along with shaker style furniture and farm themed oil paintings. A perfect meld of classic european style and transitional farmhouse decor. The color scheme is simple, neutral, and clean with natural woods, vibrant royal blues, blacks, and browns. Feedback: Uniforms need some work. Tiedyed T-shirts are a huge miss. Maybe black, flow blue, or white tshirts with buff or natural colored full aprons with their logo would be a nice way to tailor the brand further.

If you're looking for a bagel to rival the big boys over in NYC this is your best bet in KC! Bright pleasant space with their fresh offerings of the day on display right as you approach the counter. I had a sandwich bagel and a chocolate chip with strawberry. Both were so delicious I came back the next day and got the same thing LOL! Staff were always nice and accommodating, taking their time to chat and give great recommendations. Will be back!

Best bagels in KC, hands down. Love putting in a pick up order here, they're always ready on time, consistently delicious, and you're greeted with a smile upon pick up. My go-to orders include, a lightly toasted everything bagel with scallion schmear, or plain bagel with salty lox, and the works (tomato, onion, capers). So good! I'm usually in and out, so I can't say much about the ambiance, but it has that classic cafe/coffee shop feel.

Quick service with a decent selection of bagels in Kansas City. I got the everything bagel with pastrami and it was good!

After the chiefs parade, it was so hard to find a place for lunch. I went around the corner from Power and light, and saw Meshuggah with no line! It's decorated super nice inside, like a little cafe. I definitely liked the vibe in there. The owners were working and they were super nice to us and our kids. We ordered two sandwiches- one Turkey and the other I think roast beef? And then just a plain chiefs bagel. Prices seemed pretty reasonable as well.

Great bagel place near a lot of offices! The staff was not necessarily the friendliest (granted the restaurant looked empty) but they made the bagel pretty quickly. There is also plenty of seating available and the restaurant had a very homey/mom and pop vibe. The bagel was good, though I was very surprised it wasn't toasted. It was a little chewy as a result and honestly hard to eat (I had to disassemble the bagel to make it easier to eat). The cream cheese was very flavorful though!

Pretty poor service. 25 minutes for a toasted bagel? Can not recommend this place as a stop in KC.

No egg sandwiches for a bagel place is something I had no idea would ever exist. Why??

"Premier" isn't marketing flair - it's accurate. This is, hands down, the best raw bar in Kansas City. We arrived for our 5:15 p.m. reservation in the main dining room and were warmly greeted by Allison, our server. She struck the perfect balance - friendly, engaging, and attentive throughout the meal. A great start to the evening. For two diners, we wanted to explore as much of the menu as possible. Before ordering food, we were told the signature Frozen Gin & Tonic was a must. It lived up to the reputation - bright, refreshing, and expertly balanced. The only thing that would have made it better was a slightly warmer dining room. We're big mussel fans, so we opened with the Bangs Island Mussels - and they set the bar high. A generous portion of plump mussels bathed in a white wine and roasted tomato broth that was deeply flavorful without being heavy. The toasted bread was perfect for soaking up every last bite. Simply outstanding. Next came the NOLA-Style Shrimp Gumbo. Served in a small bowl, but packed with richness and depth. Adding a touch of hot sauce brought just the right amount of heat and complexity. A standout dish. My wife - having happily overindulged in mussels and bread - opted for a lighter course: a single Maryland Crab Cake, available fried or broiled. It was almost all crab, clean and flavorful, with a satisfying crust. She couldn't finish it...so I did. When you go to a raw bar, oysters are non-negotiable. I ordered a half dozen featuring both East and West Coast varieties. Each one was pristine, briny, and fresh, and the horseradish had just the right bite. For my entrée, I chose the Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp - four large prawns, each wrapped in crisp, smoky bacon. Simple, well-executed, and a strong finish to the savory courses. Dessert did not disappoint. My wife loved the Lemon Pistachio Chess Torte, while I devoured the Bourbon Apple Tart. She noted that the toasted meringue reminded her of marshmallows - a detail that made us smile. The dining room is intimate and can get noisy as it fills up. Next time, we'll likely try the patio for a different vibe. Pacing throughout the meal was spot-on, dishes came out promptly from the kitchen, and Allison's service tied everything together into a truly memorable evening. We'll definitely be back - and soon.

Allison walked us through the various oysters on the menu as well as a variety of mains and wines. As for food, I will just say that everything we ordered was excellent. The stars of the evening, though, were the tots and caviar as well as the roasted oysters. This evening, though, was truly made by Allison. This woman was incredibly personable, amazingly efficient, and beautifully professional. Allison is, perhaps, the best all around server we have had in months, maybe a whole year. This was our family's first time at Earl's, but certainly won't be our last.

Came here with a few friends for lunch. They weren't busy at the time. Welcoming nice atmosphere. Loved the added touch of the cute little container of flowers on each table. We started out sharing the deviled eggs. Two with Sriracha, two with smoked salmon, and two with bacon. Loved them! Also shared the brussel sprouts which were good, but it seemed like it was missing something. I ordered the artichoke carbonara. It was very tasty and rich. I've never had bucatini noodles. It holds the sauce very well because they're basically like noodle straws. The egg on top was an excellent added addition to the dish. I really wanted a dessert, but I was so full after eating. After I left, I wish I ordered one to take home. Next time for sure. Oh almost forgot our waitress was excellent.
