I'm very disappointed with my experience at MesoMedSpa in Buena Park today. My friend and I had facial appointments scheduled in advance, but when we arrived and checked in, we were told they didn't have enough aestheticians available and that we would need to reschedule. What's the point of making appointments if the spa cannot honor them? What made it more frustrating was that we never received any phone call or text beforehand informing us of the issue, despite them clearly knowing about the staffing problem before we arrived. They later said they might be able to fit us in about 2 hours later, so we agreed to wait. During that time, staff offered my friend and I an IV infusion while waiting. My friend asked whether it was safe for breastfeeding/nursing moms, and the staff member had to leave to double check. She then came back saying it was not recommended, and also said they would not recommend the Aqua Facial either because of their policy. The confusing part is that my friend specifically called ahead of time before booking and asked whether the facial was okay while breastfeeding, and she was told yes. So we received completely conflicting information from the same business. Overall, their poor communication, appointment issues, and inconsistent information made it hard to feel confident in the staff's knowledge or recommendations. read more

4/16/26: I initially had a very positive first experience here. Staff were kind, welcoming, and attentive during my consultation visit, which made me want to return. Unfortunately, my second visit felt very different. While everyone was polite, the overall experience lacked consistency and transparency. I called ahead to let them know I would be about 10 minutes late due to traffic and was told that was fine, but I still waited quite a while after arriving. Since the business closes at 7 PM, the appointment also felt somewhat rushed. There also did not seem to be a clear service standard. Some staff wore gloves, others did not, and basic procedures felt inconsistent. Even small details, like whether shoes should be removed before getting on the treatment bed, were unclear because I later heard different instructions were given to other clients. My aesthetician was kind, but after the chemical peel I was told her shift had ended and another staff member would complete the service. That handoff made the appointment feel less polished. The most disappointing part was the promotion. After my first visit, I saw complimentary raffle coupons in my account, which naturally created the expectation that I could use them later. However, when I returned, no one mentioned anything about it being removed or entered by mistake. It was only after I asked at checkout that I was told it had been taken off my account. That felt strange and misleading. If it was an error, it should have been communicated proactively instead of quietly disappearing unless I brought it up myself. Because of that, the promotion came across more as a tactic to encourage people to return than a genuine offer. Whether intentional or not, that was the impression it left. Overall, the staff were friendly, but the experience felt disorganized and too focused on attracting first-time customers rather than delivering a consistent return experience. Making the appointment was quick via phone call - staff answered right away! From the moment I walked in, it was a very warm and welcoming environment with the very aesthetically pleasing and spacious lobby with complimentary drinks and snacks. There were a lot of staff inside. They offered free skin analysis and then a consultation afterwards. I was given different treatment options depending on my skin needs. All my questions were answered. I didn't feel pressured or anything to take any of the specials they offered. All the staff that took care of me most especially nurse Minjee for my first ever Ultherapy & Oligio helped me understand more about the treatment and made me feel very comfortable all throughout the procedure.
