The server(s) did an excellent job of getting right on top of drink and food orders, although the latter were staggered because of kitchen space and timing. But as long as not everyone in a large party demands to eat at the same time, it works out OK. They were good about helping people who arrived later in the evening, and still making certain their food and drink orders were taken care of. And at the end of the night, we got to avoid the hassle of dividing up the bill and each individual or group paid on his or her own. I don't know if split bills is the norm in Germany, but after coming from California where it's frowned upon or even refused, it was a nice convenience.
Aight, so, let's talk about the menu. If you're a vegetarian or an omni, then Rocco und seine Brüder will surely have something you're interested in on the menu. Being a vegan, there was nothing that came as vegan, except an appetizer or two. Instead, I opted for a margherita pizza with spinach instead of cheese. It was pretty OK, but not remarkable (and I've had remarkable cheese-less pizza in the past). Still, I enjoyed my meal, and a large pizza and a large Jever came out to about 10 euros, so it's certainly affordable.
While Rocco und seine Brüder isn't terribly fancy, it's still comfortable and has a pleasant dining atmosphere.
