I then drove one minute away to another mechanic who inspected the car immediately and diagnosed the issue in under 10 seconds it was simply a broken belt. No customer deserves to be mocked or treated like a nuisance when they're worried about their vehicle. Extremely unprofessional. I called and went back to PSR straight away. They inspected the door and told me the actuator had worn out due to age and the fault wasn't related to their work. I found this surprising because the central locking had always worked normally before the repair, and the problem appeared immediately after the car was returned. My family has taken several cars to PSR over the past decade and we've always been loyal customers, so the experience this time was disappointing from a service point of view. I've now had to escalate the matter to NSW Fair Trading to resolve the issue. Sharing this here so others are aware of the experience I had.

Parramatta Smash Repairs organised everything on my behalf. They organised a hire car from Hertz, they organised the cab so that I can pick up the hire car, they even organised the exact time I would need the cab so that I wasn't waiting around !!! Their frontline service is amazing. They called me the day after I dropped the car to give me a progress update and continued these calls twice a week until it was ready. As I said, I never ONCE had to call them - this to me was above and beyond anything I've ever experienced.
