I'm 45 and…read moreruptured my quad tendon as we were loading up my daughter's stuff for her sophomore year of college. Apparently every movement of my body was tied in through this tendon because I couldn't walk, and when I tried I would collapse. Within a day of the examination I was in surgery. Within a week of surgery i was out of the immobilizer and into a mega-robo-brace AND WALKING. Sure it was with crutches but I could already use myles and flex my quad muscle. I am now working with PT to strengthen but less then a month post-op I am walking without crutches but still with my leg brace. Amazing I had two really rough days of pain after the surgery, but they're careful to send you home with just the right amount of pain medication. Dr. Rettig was assigned to me but you could also recognize him on the sidelines with the Colts as their ortho specialist. When I was in surgery recovery, I was next door to a Raiders tight-end (who shall remain nameless). Amazing experience. Amazing group of professionals.

Parking isn't an issue with a large parking lot in front of the hospital and the Professional Building. I use to see a physician years ago in this group at another location but he passed away. I've been having a lot of pain in my feet again so I returned to the Practice I knew. The front office staff and the Medical Assistant was friendly and pleasant. I only waited a few minutes before being taken to an exam room. The Medical Assistant was organized, thorough and paid attention to medical history details. X-rays were taken minutes after we entered the exam room. It saves so much time having X-rays taken on site and immediately read by the physicians. Dr. Vulanich was personable, great listener, and empathetic to my concerns. I usually steer away from a physician who isn't a good listener so I was pleased she did. After a thorough exam all my questions were answered clearly. I liked Dr. Vulanich and scheduled a follow up appointment with her. If you are searching for a good Podiatrist, I do recommend her.

I had a complication from surgery and had to have another surgery to correct it two years later. 3…read moredoctors I saw before deciding on one stated there was an issue that needed correction. After a 4 month rehab, it was hard to go through it again. I strongly recommend consulting an orthopedic surgeon for extensive corrective surgery on your feet. Dr H is a good doc but I feel strongly that perhaps this was out of his realm of expertise given the extensive complexity of what was done. It was a 4.5 hour surgery with hardware in 3 places.
