There's a sauce for everyone's taste, whether you want your fries with mayo or ketchup or BBQ or spicy ketchup... Was it the best burger ever? No, but it was very good. All the right components where there and I definitely left very satisfied with my meal. The burgers are on the greasier and saucier side than most Danish burgers I've had, and I like it that way. We both started with their elderflower aperitif--a wonderful cocktail that was citrusy and not too floral. For dinner, we thought that we were ordering a Caesar salad as a starter to share, but it came out with the main courses, and it was huge and had chicken on it and tasted nothing like Caesar, so we are *finally* learning our lesson that the Danes are clueless when it comes to this particular cuisine. We throw our hands up! The pork schnitzel was very good, nice and crispy, and we enjoyed the peas on the side, but why was the horseradish like a tangle of shredded noodles on top? Confusing! The moules frites our daughter ordered was massive, so that ended up being a waste of money because only a third of them got eaten. The accompanying fries had a tangy seasoning on them that we all loved. One of us also got the stjerneskud, a kind of smørrebrød, because it had to be done once. Imagine a massive piece of bread covered in a bernaise kind of sauce and now it's topped with smoked salmon, a thousand tiny shrimp, a grilled AND steamed plaice (a kind of whitefish). The thing was insane, hence the aforementioned overordering. Service is nice enough. The bill was sky high, which is our main reservation about this place, but it's our own fault at the end of the day for letting our eyes be bigger than our stomachs. We wouldn't necessarily recommend Mefisto at the end of day because we didn't Capital L Love it, but you can certainly have a nice meal here. 3.5 stars rounding up.

The 3 course menu tasted delicious, and also offered an excellent value proposition :-) The ambiance was warm, quiet, and charming; the service was totally on-point while being completely helpful and friendly. They designed the inside to have multiple shipping containers used throughout and there is also nice natural lighting and plenty of seating throughout. There is a reasonable amount of seating inside if you don't take the food home. The price is very reasonable and if you come by on Tuesdays, they have taco Tuesday, where you get 4 tacos for the price of 3. Enough to feed most people. Only downside is that they don't have a bathroom so you can't wash your hands after eating your messy food :)
