Everyone seemed nice and helpful but turned out to be very misleading, I was switching from boost and was given a specific price that I would have to pay. I had to come back another day as they didn't have the phones I wanted and they started telling me I would need to pay twice the price I was given to switch. I brought it up that it's not what I was told the first time I came, so they agreed to give me some discounts which was still more than the first offer. I agreed to that and was told my new plan would include google one and a hot spot. Guy named Robert added insurance on 2 of my lines that I didn't ask for and wasn't aware that he's done so. First, my google one was not working and the salesman told me once again that it was included and I should call metro customer service, I never did as we decided we don't need it at the moment, now few months later I was trying to use hot spot and it didn't work. The customer service told me it's not included with my plan, even though I was told it would be and my metro app says it is. Customer service suggested I upgrade or call the store that sold me the plan. I called the store and the guy was suggesting I pay even more money than the customer service was offering and even suggested I add a line that I don't need. Terrible mobile phone retailers. I entered to switch my plan and asked the employee if my current phone is unlocked and if they are compatible. He checked, replied with yes, and proceeds to import my number. Then at the end process he said there was something wrong and that to unlock my Samsung Galaxy S8 I would need to pay additional $120 or hold on to the free provided cellphone and just pay $50 for the service and $20 for the SIM card. He also said once the number is imported, I cannot use my previous service because I am with them now. I took the free phone and proceed with my day. During my first day, dropped calls were a constant and data streams were extremely slow while supposed to be unlimited. I returned to get a refund, he refused and insisted that I come back when his manager was available. I return the following day and the manager said to travel to Kingsplaza mall where the head store is located to get a refund. I went to the supposed "flagstore" which was just a regular mall stand, and was informed that you can only get a full refund at the store of purchase and that store was just giving me false information to get me out while stalling until 7 days has passed or when 60 mins are used up so you cannot get any refund. I'm tired of going back and forth, these people are crooks at this location, they use every excuse in the book to overcharge and to avoid refunds not honoring the Metro policy. Especially the worker named Hamza, he physically threw me my SIM card when I request for it and was speaking in another language in front of his manager so I wouldn't understand as well as shifting blame to other workers. Never have I seen such irresponsibility for so called authorized dealers. To this day, I have not received my refund. Thanks to this location and the extremely poor service provided, I will never choose Metro PCS and will continue to inform others of this terrible experience. read more
