4/17/2023 Pack and Unpack Boxes…read moreWe recently moved to Windsor, and needed help unloading three 16 ft. PODS with a household full of furniture and heavy boxes. The Moving Caddies came to my rescue and unloaded and placed the furniture and boxes just where I wanted it, in a timely manner. They were very professional and reasonably priced. I would not hesitate using them again.

To start, the two movers were kind and polite - I want to give them credit for that. My reservation was for 12 PM, and I was told they'd arrive between 12-1, but I didn't receive a clear heads-up on timing and they showed up at 11:58 AM. They began billing as soon as they arrived, and since I don't live on-site and was running behind picking up the truck, I ended up being billed for that time. I understand part of that is on me for running late, but clearer communication would have helped. Unfortunately, the actual move is where things went downhill. Furniture was dropped, pushed through doorways, and not handled with much care. I have a white couch that I've kept in great condition, and they laid it on its side and dragged it across the floor of the storage unit and truck. By the end, it was covered in black dust. At the time, I was trying to be understanding and didn't say much - especially since the manager asked for feedback over the phone while I was standing right next to the movers. After everything was done, I discovered damage to multiple door frames in my home. That was the tipping point for me. I now have to pay for repairs and likely professional cleaning for the couch. I wasn't planning to leave a review, but given the extent of the damage, I felt it was important to share.

UPDATE: Filed a claim through insurance and was told they are not covered as a moving company, but…read moreas an outdoor furniture sales company (which excludes coverage for loading, unloading, or personal property in their possession). Therefore our damages are NOT covered and their claim of being a fully insured moving company was fraudulent. I did send a text letting them know that if they did commit fraud and scammed us, that we were within our rights to press charges. At that point, the husband started blowing up my phone, first claiming I broke the items (despite the fact that I have copious evidence that they not only broke the items, but were aware of it), then saying he tried to fix it and nobody got back to him (also false) then threatening me with a lawsuit and making generic statements of intimidation. I asked him several times to cease contact and have his wife (the supposed business manager) get in contact with me to see if there was a way we could resolve the issue. He did not stop, though I have blocked his number. His office management has still not reached out to resolve the issue. Both husband and wife have numerous known aliases (a trend not often observed by those not involved in criminal activity). The business address provided was an extended stay hotel and is not real.

I had multiple people waiting to make this move. Never showed up. Never picked up the phone. Towards the evening after calling them constantly, the owner picked up the phone. Said he will be there the next day at 8am. Same thing again. Never showed up, and have not heard from him since. A$$HOLE took my money and with zero regard to the time he wasted. Save yourself the trouble and use someone else. It looks like they run multiple scams like this on craiglist so be careful if you decide to use a company without any credibility.

I hired them to disassemble and reassemble a…read moremurphy bed, specifically asking if they had someone with the experience needed, and they guaranteed that they could take care of it. I also provided the instructions and verified with the movers when they arrived that they could take care of this. Within 5 minutes of trying to disassemble the bed, they sheared off one of the springs which then caused the entire bed frame to twist and snap. I then submitted my claim with the company and they've offered me $500 for a $4000 bed and have not even offered to reimburse me for the cost of the move itself. I've now had to take them to small claims court in Kansas to attempt to recover my damages. This is a terrible moving company and there are much better options out there, for the sake of your furniture, please do not hire them.

BEWARE! Moving Proz…read morehas nice, hardworking employees but the company and these employees are not skilled enough to handle corporate moves. Do not trust them with anything delicate or expensive. They broke a beautiful, expensive table in half and told us "their policy doesn't cover anything made of materials natural like marble, slate, granite, or stone." Funny, because we had multiple pieces made of natural materials and the sales person as well as the moving leads all specifically saw each piece of furniture we needed to move, before the move began and never said a word about this policy. The policy was buried in the long contract that they rush you through in advance of the move. Additionally, the movers broke the glass on a $10k sound proof phone booth. They are willing to provide .60 per pound, for the glass only, even though the entire phone booth is now rendered unusable. Totally unprofessional and a company whose policies fail to make it right for customers they burn. Like I said, the employees themselves were friendly and hardworking, I'm sure these guys would be fine moving cheap, non-delicate furniture. But be warned, if you have anything nice, call someone more professional.
