Extremely rude and nasty. Do not spend your money here. I purchased lottery tickets and had some winners, they claimed not to have any money in the registers ( it was late in the day not at opening) and had the nerve to send me to another place in the mall. The food looks stale and on the grill for days. Check expiration dates-they have stale candy and chips. read more

Metro Mart - This is what Metro Mart looks like at 9:17 am in the morning - Convenience Stores Near Me - Garden City, New York

Love Metro Mart and I think every mall should have one! It's pretty much a convenience store, but the selection is amazing! I don't know why people buy candy from other stores which are more expensive. They have bulk candy you can buy by the pound or more than your typical candy bar offerings. They also have coffees, slurpees, slushes, sodas and juices. There are also a few food items like pizza, hot dogs, and David's cookies along with a selection of other baked goods and packaged snacks. There's a card and gift wrapping aisle as well as a selection of health and beauty products. It's on the ground level so if you've missed seeing Metro Mart, take the stairs or escalator down. read more

Clean and nice little joint on the lowest level of the mall. they serve Nathan hot dogs, but they are not the ones you would get at the actual Nathans restaurant, they are half the size. The place sells cold sandwiches, candies, coffee, hot chocolate, slushies and so on and so forth. I classify this place as the "Poor mans 7 eleven" They have and serve up pretty much everything a 7 eleven would, except gas and at a cheaper price. read more

Stopled by to pick up allergy medicine and was wrongly charged 8.99 when the wall display read 4.99. When asking an associate for a refund was told "no" with no explanation. Good for a lousy cup of coffee, bad for customer service. Will not shop here again. read more

I am a resident of elizabeth nj and love to visit the jersey gardens mall at least once a month. I have been to metro mart at jersey gardens several times and that is the very reason I have decided to write this review. Customer service is awful. Be prepared to over pay and wait in long lines only to be greeted by nasty cashiers. Food prices are ok but the quality is awful and I have received food that was cold in the middle more than one time. And I don't mean fussy cold i mean downright frozen cold. When this store first opened about a year and a half ago it was great but it has really gone down hill since then and I wouldn't recommend entering this store unless you are starving to death or you can afford to overpay for candy and medicine. read more
