Because of my accident I was in need of pain management and it was very unfortunate that he was the…read moreonly provider for my HMO plan. I arrived very early to complete all of the forms and I had a very long wait before seeing him. The medical assistant finally called me and sent me to go into the room to wait for the doctor. However, after waiting for him for 15 minutes I was requested to go to a different room. After waiting another 15 minutes, one of his assistants came in to collect more detailed information about my slip and fall accident in addition to any treatments that I have received to date etc. 15 minutes after that conversation, he finally came in to communicate with me. However this wasn't a conversation. There was no Compassion or any concern to truly understand what was going on, it was more of an interrogation. He was extremely rude, arrogant and kept asking me the same questions over and over again but in different ways. As if I was going to give him a different answer or be inconsistent or be dishonest about the intensity of the pain that I am experiencing. What the hell???!! As he's interrogating me, he has the audacity to ask me why am I so upset and I'm looking at him and I'm explaining to him that I am not responding to medications because I am in pain and he keeps interrogating me! Asking why? Why? Etc. Why haven't you had an MRI? I told him that I was not referred to one. He persists, why why why why? then he's going to say what is your diagnosis? WTF? I couldn't believe he asked me what's my diagnosis as if I went to medical school to become a doctor in specializing pain management! I told him shouldn't you examine me to make that determination?????? You don't have a diagnosis so I can prescribe you any pain medication! What am I treating you for? omg!!! Then he looks at my x-ray and says he doesn't see anything and he kept on repeating that and I said: I don't care what you see, I'm in severe pain and I am telling you to look at all of the referrals that I have been given from my PCP and that I have home care, so if I'm going through all of this, what makes you think I don't have pain??? Like really! The interrogation continued and he was just so rude and so nasty, I could not believe that I was experiencing this. I grabbed all of my papers and I walked off. I could not believe it. I was in shock. Out of this world experience. I have never met a medical provider that was so utterly disgusting and heartless, it is like how dare you interrogate me as if you are the damn FBI? or the DEA? Well fortunately I was able to find another provider who accepted a letter protection from my attorney. So even though this jerk was the only provider for my insurance, I wasn't at a lost. I went to Jersey Rehab (in Belleville, NJ). I was given an appt where I was treated by the doctor. The Dr. did what he was supposed to do by examining me, he made 2 diagnoses of my injuries, provided me with prescriptions (pain meds), and referred me to an MRI provider. Not to mention the Jersey Rehab Dr. provided me with respect and compassion. Word to the wise, if you want treatment and respect, Avoid Kazimierz at all costs. He is so arrogant, rude and nasty.

Additionally, the office was closed the next day as well. They will always speak behind your back in polish, knowing you cannot understand them. They are all about the $$$$. In the event you are in need of a prior authorization, good luck! When my insurance had called the office to obtain a prior authorization, because they would not return my calls, the doctor hung up the phone on the phone with insurance company, stating this was taking too much of his and his staff's time. Leaving a long term patient of six years without medication and unable to be there for my fiancé's father open heart surgery. Once obtaining records for a large fee, there were many false statements in the records. I was shocked that any medical doctor would put false statements in a patient's record. Completely unethical. If you are looking for a doctor that is actually looking out for your best interests, and not the money, I suggest you look elsewhere. In the event he is out of the office, even if it is for an emergency you will be left in the cold. I had been told there is no covering doctor and if you have an emergency, even during the day week to go to the ER. This so called doctor should retire or have his license pulled. That is no way to treat a compliant patient. I also failed to mention during my appointment he was cursing several times using the F word and in my medical records states I cursed at him. Although his staff was witness to this, they are all too afraid to speak up. Will see what will happen once they are subject to subpoena. Shall see if they lie under oath as well.

Anyway, I ended up with a very angry abscess, went to one of those online doctors for $65 and got antibiotics and a dental rinse, and as soon as the swelling was sufficiently down, I decided to just have the tooth yanked. Back molar, not going to miss it too much, a lot cheaper than even going to Los Algones Mexico for a root canal which honestly these days makes a lot more sense than having it done for the higher price (even when factoring in air fare and hotel for dental tourism to Mexico) here in the States. In any case, everyone, and I mean everyone at this office is so friendly and polite and professional and efficient. It just so happened, and I certainly can't guarantee this nor could this dentist, but I ended up being charged slightly less than the estimate they gave me. Even had it been the top and of the estimate, it's still would have been a good deal. I would add that I am not a fan of Novocaine at all, and have had dental work done before without the shot because the regular pain I can handle, but I'm a baby about the Novocaine shot. This time I didn't want to mess around since I was having a tooth pulled, but the dentist gave a fantastic shot and the entire procedure he did an excellent job. The healing process has been going very well with the exception of a bit of sharp bone sticking out the inner side of my gum (according to Google, this is not abnormal after a tooth extraction) and attacking my tongue on that side. I let them know about this today which is a Monday. I'm not scheduled to be back to have the stitches out until Thursday, but they told me that they would fit me in tomorrow. So let's review: everyone in that office is friendly, professional, responsive, accommodating and efficient, the pricing is very gentle, and the dentist himself Dr. Doktorman does excellent work. So if you're anywhere in reasonable commute distance and in need of a dentist, this seems like a pretty obvious choice. Going to a dentist is not recreational, but seriously, you're going to be happy with them here.

Dr Michael Pitter (RIP) was my Doctor who performed this masterful work. The nursing staff was simply divine with their TLC, compassion and professionalism kindness towards me. I was preparing to have my Mammogram and Ultrasound done. However, I was informed by my scheduler at Columbia Doctors that I needed my images from my last mammogram (2014) with Hackensack University Medical Center. Today, nothing has changed with the remarkable, caring, positive staffers, that give TLC as their standard. A professional body of heartwarming staff at Hackensack University Medical Center. I called and requested my images. They returned the call the next day, and my images and report were ready. I drove to NJ, got my ticket stamped for free parking from the Breast Cancer Screening Center. Dropped off my images to Columbia Doctors on West 51st Street in the heart of Rockefeller Center and Radio City Music Hall (so cool). At the end of the movie, it was a joyous experience that made me feel truly gratefully happy and cared for by Hackensack University Medical Center and Columbia Doctors/NY Presbyterian Hospital. The great news is that my Mammogram and Ultrasound was negative. AMEN

Someone much wiser (and older!) than myself said that the tragedy of old age is that in your mind…read moreyou still feel the same as it was in your youth but your body - like a car - starts to fall apart and needs a tuning and maybe replacement parts from time to time. So you reach the half-a-century mark and it's time for your very first colonoscopy. (Although they've been pushing to lower the age to 45, I hear.) Everyone from the lady at the front desk to the handful of nurses and technicians were stellar. You're running on fumes (I'll spare you exactly what 'prep day' is all about) and probably cranky and nervous (guilty as charged!) and all of 'this' is very strange so it's nice that everyone was personable, professional, and respectful. I also appreciated that they were sending me texts a day before my scheduled procedure (to make sure I was following all the detailed instructions properly) as well as a text checking on me the day after (to make sure you're doing good). My biggest/only issue: the same it is with almost every doctor for every field out there... their overbooking and zero consideration of how valuable your time is. 10:15 was my scheduled arrival time. I didn't get my name called till 11:45 to start the whole shebang. I'm not sure how you can square that circle. 90 minutes is bordering on ridiculous, let's be honest. (I can't tell you how many times I watched the same handful of stories for News 12 NJ that was playing on the one TV in their lobby.) But... maybe it's the aftereffects of the propofol (your mind will be blown how fast you're knocked out and then it feels like two seconds passed when they're waking you up and you realize they're finished and you're done) but everything else was a positive experience (and I'm tickled pink I don't have to go again for another decade - by then I'll probably forget how horrible all the prepping was) that I'm not docking any stars. (But you've been warned.)

The facility and their style and manner of running the facility is horrible. Told you cannot wait in your care because they don't want to take 2 minutes to call on the phone - told you have to sit there and wait to be called. Rude and when you ask if they are running behind - they say a little when you see when you arrive at 10:15 and that is your appointment, there are three others in the waiting room ahead of you. There is no respect for the patients' time. Dr. Roth thank you but I am sure you would not want to be treated in this manner.
