Chaka was extremely responsive over e-mail at answering all of my questions in a timely manner. I also spoke with Kevin a bit, who was also very helpful. Their quote with Erie insurance was competitive, and I liked the coverage and policy more than the competition. To date, I have not had to file a claim, so I can't speak to that process. I hope to keep it that way!

A For The People Insurance got me Insurance with Universal Casualty and Property Insurance, a…read morecompany who has bad reviews. UCPI cancelled my insurance after one month. AFTP upon reinstatement sent the info. under a wrong policy number stopping my refinance for my mortgage from closing with Quicken Loan. I now have Nationwide, a company I got on my own. I have yet to receive the whole refund for cancellation. Supposedly, the check sent to a bogus address, Cedar Lane, Gilbertsville, Pa. and was returned to sender by a Realtor., Also, there was a stop payment placed on the check by UPCI. They have sent me a check for $2.14 far from the $1,082. Now it's going to be another 30 day wait. I am contemplating filing a complaint with the PA Insurance Commission and entering into litigation. They have ten days to get the check today! If not, I will see them in Court of Common Pleas Allegheny County, Pa. Do business with "A For The People Insurance Company" at your own risk. I have learned a valuable lesson, it's best going direct with a bigger company eliminating all Agents!
