This has to be the most organized SSS Office in Metro Manila. It's smaller than the other branches…read morebut, because not many people see it, the wait in line is not long. Also, the entire office has air-conditioning and many seating areas. Near this branch, there is a PhilHealth & BIR office. Across the street is Pag-iba Fund office. So, it's the perfect place to get ALL your government ID's. The staff, from the guard to the people at the counters, are very accommodating and patient with everyone. The process is quite efficient and I did not wait long for my turn in line. Unfortunately, I could not finish the processing of my SSS ID because of an injury on my index finger. So, I couldn't complete the Biometrics. So frustrating! But, the lady kept my application and all I need to do is go back once my finger is healed. Yay! Just so you know, all SSS now offer the UMID! This is the Universal ID that contains government info such as you SSS, Pag-Ibig + PhilHealth identification numbers. So, it's the one ID you'll every need! I would have applied but, I don't have my Pag-Ibig ID yet. Sayang! Oh well, lessened learned.

PROS: Their name is Maginhawash. Really. Who doesn't love puns like that? It was enough for me to try their services; They're on a very accessible location, just one building away from Mini Stop in Maginhawa; They pick up your clothes and deliver as well. They bring a weighing scale too to make sure that they're charging you right. Plus the staff is really nice and accommodating; It's relatively cheap too, with 25 pesos per kilo of clothes. They have separate prices for sheets and floor mats, though. CONS: They use too much fabric conditioner. My brother despises that smell since it makes him smell feminine, which challenges his stylish, metrosexual, macho brand. I don't like too much fab-con on my clothes too since it makes me sneeze a lot; During summer, they'd be done with your clothes and deliver it in 2-3 days. But during pasukan, it could take a week or more. Look's like kuya's in-demand; Their laundry quality is clean enough, but it could be gentler. Colored clothes get faded, especially black ones. TL;DR: Maginhawash is fine and accessible, but they could do with some improvements.

Since then I've built a relationship with Gr8tshops and they're one of the few online shippers you can trust. I say this because I'm a hard customer to please. I'm one of those who needs constant updates and proof of whatever. They send a screenshot of the online transaction (of what you ordered), pictures when it's arrived on their bodega and text you updates on when it might arrive. They did all that without me having to ask 'em to and that's some customer service right there. You can either have it shipped to your place, go to one of the meet up places or pick it up at the bodega in Cubao. We also had this instance where we ordered something from the U.S. and it arrived at their bodega a little damaged, the shoes had some sort of stain, upon closer examination. They could've sent the item and claim that it wasn't their job to return it but they did and when the new item came, it had a similar stain. By that point they offered to refund our money and send back the shoes but it was fine because the stain was barely visible and we really liked the shoes! Though Paolo's charges higher than my usual go-to place for printing (P3 per page for black-ink printing as opposed to the usual P1-per-page printing I get), it's really the convenience I pay for. Paolo's is on the way when I commute to the main road. And it doesn't get crowded unlike the usual Internet shop I go to for printing, which can be full of students as it's near the University of Perpetual Help. I also get some of my photos printed here, especially when I'm giving them as gifts and when I'm in a hurry. Again, the price is higher than you would find in malls, but I would recommend this for people living near the street intersection of Lennox Annie Black and Lalaine Bennet in BF Resort . The quality of the photo print is good, too. And, during my first time to have my photos printed, the owner even re-sized my photos in the computer, after recommending printed photo sizes and the corresponding digital dimensions.
