Like the Crocodile Café and the floating bus: 'Crocodille Rouge', but especially the Aquacentre nearby is a must when your there. The service is very good and they also try to speak your language when you order your meal in the restaurant next to it! As a biker I enjoyed the food and ofcourse the atmosphere while I was there. The location, the people and ofcourse the roads are perfect to spend the holidays at! For bikers and ofcourse people who like the woods and being in the nature I recommend this place as a MUST visit when your in our awesome "Belgische Ardennen"! Tip: Don't go on a very hot day... It will be absolutly busy and worst of all: no parking spots... -This review was written as a task for English class-

Seul bémol ; Il y a très peu d'animation le soir. Par exemple, le 14 juillet 2013, aucune animation spécifique, pas d'ambiance dans le bar ni dans les deux seuls restos ouvert. L'infrastructure est nickel et on peut y faire de grandes ballades La piscine est agréable. Le personnel fait ce qu'il peut pour garder les vestiaires propres mais ce n'est pas toujours le cas. Ce n'est pas une piscine classique pour nager mais principalement un endroit convivial pour jouer avec les enfants. Update fin juillet : nous avons visités l'aquarium. Mon conseil ... Economisez et allez à Nausicaa :-)

We love venturing out so we decided to check out this zoo recently…read more Entrance was 10€ for adults and 6€ for children 3 and up (more pricey than Lille zoo). This is a small zoo and limited on animals. What we enjoyed the most during our visit was the Llamas exhibit. Something different from what we've previously seen, and we've visited numerous zoos, aquariums, etc. Easy to miss (we almost walked away from it) but it was my favorite part of our trip here. There's a playground inside the zoo and another playground outside to the right of the entrance.

This small zoo, located in the town of Maubeuge, not too far across the border from Belgium (and…read moreabout a half hour from Mons), is actually very nice. I think it has lost many visitors to the Belgian Pairi Daizi, which is massive and full of animals however. It not so much a 'zoo' with animals inside cages, but more like an animal park. In one area you can wander around with the sheep and lamas and, if lucky, get to pet them. Among the highlights are the white tigers, Asian elephants and panthers from Sri Lanka. At just 9 Euros admission price, you can also wander around the world's continents and enjoy what that part of the world has to offer from the animal kingdom. This is actually a very nice day out and you're most likely to not have to walk around in a crowd.
