Very old school. Cons: - Speaking of old school, NO credit or debit card use as of the date of this review. They post a sign for this right on the door. It isn't an issue for me personally, but it can be for potential diners in 2024. - The corned beef hash was a miss for me, but I don't know if it was the establishment or if I'm the problem. I've just been used to eating Hormel corned beef hash a specific way for 30 years, and maybe it wasn't what I expected. Regardless, while worth mentioning this does not factor in my review. Bottom Line: This would easily be a frequent stop if I was a local. Small diners like this are a dime a dozen in the United States. They all have very similar menus and ambience, but it is a question of execution that separates them. Typically the credit card thing would bump down to a 4, but I have a lot of respect for this place and atmosphere, so I side with the locals and go with the 5 stars.

The server was fantastic our server Nikki could not have been better. The Salad bar was included with all the lunches and it was outstanding. The pizza was really good, the pasta was fresh and very cheesy, the sandwich and fries were not as good they just seemed ordinary. The pecan pie was a let down the crust was hard and the pecans tasted burnt so I would say avoid it. The restaurant was nicely appointed but in the restroom was a not very well taken care of, the toilet paper holder was broken and just hanging there and it was out of soap which being there as they opened i would think it would be full.
