I give this company less than a star if I could on the grounds that the rents they charge for a single bedroom rent exceed $300.00/ month and their rents are at least $75.00 - $150.00 a month more than their competitors for rentals in the Willimantic area. The renovations in these Victorian homes reflect the owner s need to pack in as many tennents as possible in very small rooms, shallow closets, shared ammenities, with frequent inconvenient apartment showings with less than 24 hours notice, and ground level apartments vulnerable to insects, mold potential, excessive humidity, and poor air circulation. The landlord in my case failed to sign the lease, made frequent apartment showing visits with less than 24 hour notice (notice was also only provided via email messages), and the fire alarms were inconveniently placed directly near or over the stove so that even at the lowest settings, one could not boil water without setting off an alarm. The landlord is exploting students especially, charging full apartment rates for what amounts to the renting of a single bedroom with amentities and common spaces being shared among 4 -5 roommates at $525.00 - $600.00 a month plus utillities. Competitors offer rooms as big or twice the square footage with deeper closets and storage space for $450 - $475.00 a month. I would not recommend renting from this agency. Renters beware! read more
