This is one of my wife's favorite place to go to, I really love that. It's a family owned business and they work really hard. The food is great never had any issues there's enough to go around especially if you get the family meal, location is small but clean and again the work they put in. Came home for Christmas and I'm so used to the amazing Mediterranean food we have in the Bay Area, but I decided to give it a try. So worth it! I ordered the following: -Tabbouleh: literally so fresh and flavorful -falafel: perfectly crispy and soft with great flavor -hummus: delicious and creamy -Greek salad: very fresh and they took time with the press -chicken kebab plate ( I didn't eat it but my family said it was flavored well) -salad dressing is so lemony! The food was delicious! Tried this place for the first time after finding them here on Yelp...everything was fresh and portions were generous! Everything was so flavorful! Maya helped us with our catering order and Adam assisted with the plates...the service was great, everyone was so accommodating and happy to help. Although a bit small of a storefront it smelled so good when we walked and we could see everything being made in front of us! Friday night dinner at Mezzaterranean...SO YUMMY! I didn't wanna cook Friday night after work, so when my husband suggested we go to Mezzaterranean I said YES PLEASE and THANK YOU! We ordered the cheesy rolls to share, and I had the chicken kebab plate and he had the lamb kebab plate. Both plates were served with lots of rice, salad, hummus and pita bread. Everything is cooked to order, so expect a little wait for your food. Everything is so good though, and totally worth the short wait. Our dinner was served right off the grill, and made with the freshest ingredients. The staff is super nice and helpful. The restaurant is small, but very clean. Can't wait to go back! read more

Only complain I have is that I guess they over poured the salad dressing and a lot of it went to the rice. Made the rice taste lemony. Pros: affordable, filling, and delicious! Ample parking in a small shopping center. Cons: tables are higher than chairs, and the tables need to be wiped down thoroughly. We were a group of 15 adults dining here on July 11th in Ontario, and we were completely misled by the positive reviews and ratings. This was hands down the worst Mediterranean food any of us have ever had. The restaurant itself was dirty -- the tables were sticky like they hadn't been cleaned in days. The food quality was abysmal. I wouldn't even call this Mediterranean; I don't believe the cuisine could ever taste this bad. The chicken shawarma was essentially chicken curry -- it didn't taste grilled at all. The bread was served straight out of a plastic packet, and to our shock, the baklava was brought in from outside before being served. We were so hungry, but even then, most of us could barely finish our meals. To top it off, the prices aren't cheap -- I've had far better Mediterranean food at lower or similar prices. If I could, I'd give this place a negative rating for food, hygiene, and ambience. read more

They are definitely purchasing reviews. I can't tell you anything about how the food tastes because I was put off by how dirty this establishment is before I had a chance to try it, unfortunately I did not notice this before I paid for the food but rest assured it is sitting in the car as I find somewhere CLEAN to eat. You'd think that's the bare minimum. Also their A/C is off, hopefully it's broken because that is not the way to save money guys, don't punish your patrons. This was really good! I ordered online and it was ready in 20 minutes. I really enjoyed the trio plate, fresh salad, and hummus. The serving was generous and can definitely feed 3 people. Mezzaterranean is hands down the absolute BEST restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga for Mediterranean food. I've been coming here for years and I'm NEVER disappointed. The hummus is super flavorful, you can tell it's made fresh. The pickled turnips and pepperoncinis are a nice touch to complement the meal and cleanse your palette. I usually get their beef shawarma and hummus plate but today I decided to try their chicken shawarma and it was absolutely delicious--not dry at all and very flavorful. I wanted to try their lentil soup, but sadly it was out of stock. I also got a Mezzaterranean salad. Portions are huge, so you will definitely have leftovers. The staff is friendly and helpful, the place is cute and intimate with some indoor seating for dining in. I usually try other Mediterranean places and I'm never as satisfied as I am when I come here. Great little hidden gem. Stopped by for lunch right as they opened and service was quick and courteous. The gentleman behind the counter was very kind and patient as I looked over the menu. The restaurant is on the smaller side but not tiny with plenty of space to enjoy your meal. And the food was delicious. Ordered a beef shawarma sandwhich and it was very delicious. The young lady at the counter didn't care to solve the issue. Finally food was ready and we ate outside on the dirty tables. (I brought a tablecloth because we were having a picnic). Overall the food is meh. The chicken had good flavor but their rice is bland. The beef gyro meat is dry and tasteless. I gave it a try but will stick to the numerous Mediterranean places all around this area there are many excellent ones.

It lacked that cucumber flavor and it appeared to be prepared watered down intentionally. It was even lacking that tart yogurt taste because it was so thinned out. Overall, it was still a fairly good meal. I would suggest making or buying better pita bread. I would be willing to try it again because the meat was delicious and I'd get hummus instead of the cucumber yogurt.

I'm updating my review after my visit on 12/24. While the food remains delicious, the service has drastically declined. We arrived at 11:30 a.m. as the only customers, yet it took 30 minutes to receive our lunch despite dining in. The staff's attention was poor, a stark contrast to my previous visits. In addition, they now serve food on paper plates with plastic utensils, which wasn't the case before. This change was disappointing and diminished the overall dining experience. Hygiene was also a major issue. The tables were sticky, and the lamps above them were coated with a thick layer of dust and grease, which occasionally fell onto the table. This lack of cleanliness and decline in service standards is unacceptable. I won't be returning and recommend avoiding this restaurant until these problems are resolved. read more

I purchased two meals, the price of each is $11.99 in the special day price. Before paying, I made sure of my request regarding a change to the type of salad. My order was confirmed at the same price displayed, after the employee confirmed that there was no increase in the amount, but when I reviewed the purchase invoice, it became clear to me that they cheated. The amount was increased by 10 dollars, and when I asked her about this increase, she said that she would cancel the purchase and spoke sarcastically because she canceled it because of a few dollars. "Ashton" (kid grow up!! its bad enough you're already making a spectacle of yourself). You would think the so called manager "Maya" would want to take care of the problem instead of just sweeping it under the rug??? The entrees are a generous portion, definitely worth the money and couldn't complain about the service either. I wish there were more places like this around town. Sometimes it's the hole in the wall, that you'll discover a hidden gem. This place is small, easy to miss, but when you eat the food it's for sure memorable. We had a chicken kabob plate and chicken shawarma fries. It was AMAZING! The service was great! I introduced my wife to the chicken shawarma fries and she was blown away. Love this place, found it on yelp and it's just a tiny hole in the wall. Couldn't believe I've driven past it so many times and didn't know about it.
