This Sunday market has become the highlight of my visits to Guadalajara. Be sure to stop by the Trocadero antique store (just across the street from the market) to see a shop full of quality antiques (Mexican and European) at fair prices. Suggest arriving after 9:00 am since that's when most dealers are just beginning to set up. If you mention "trocadero" to taxi drivers they'll get you there (somewhat difficult to find on your own). I've never experienced any safety concerns at the market.
