Elderflower Margarita
Jacquelyn O.

New Mexican Restaurant in Greenfield, NH. Located in the center of town is this amazing addition to the Monadnock Region. We went on a Wednesday night and I was shocked at how busy it was. We were seating quickly and brought water, chips and salsa. I had the Elderflower Margarita and it was one of the best margaritas I have ever had. For dinner I had a burrito. They serviced French fries with it, which I didn't feel was necessary. The sauces and rice on and in the burrito was so flavorful. The staff was friendly and prompt. The only downfall for the restaurant was it was very loud inside. Overall this is the best Mexican Restaurant in the Monadnock Region.

Birria Chimichanga which was opted from the burrito served with refried beans, rice, letttuce, tomato, guacamole, and sour cream

I've passed by here several times wanting to try out this location. I decided to stop here today. At first, I was a little confused as there is parking there for the building next door for tenets, so I wasn't sure where to park. I was a little confused by which door was the main door coming from the apartment side over, but once I had it all set, I was quickly greeted and shown to a table. They have outdoor seating as well as booths and high tops. Our server quickly brought chips and salsa to our table. The salsa was very refreshing and had a wonderful flavor. The inside is very open and inviting, and it was very clean. The bathrooms were also very clean. Although it wasn't listed, I ordered a horchata, which came in a glass garnished with cinnamon on top. I was very pleased with it. I asked our server if I could have the birria burrito made chimichanga style, which he was happy to ask the back of house if they would do. My friend ordered the grilled shrimp tacos. Our food came out very quickly. Everything looked delicious and the portion sizes were reasonable. Everything was very well seasoned and tasted very fresh. The meat from my chimichanga was tender and full of flavor. I usually don't say much about refried beans because most places seem to have bland refried beans, but this tasted made in-house. It tasted fresh and herbaceous. They really knocked it out of the park. I'm looking forward to making a visit again.

This was hands down the best Mexican food I've ever had! It was super fresh, perfect spices, tender meat, crisp veggies. The service was prompt and friendly. It's a very comfortable place as well.

The atmosphere was very nice. Well decorated and furnished. Service was friendly and prompt. The food was tasty with generous portions. A great spot to find in Greenfield.

Esquites

Food and service was excellent. The remodel inside is beautiful. The bar is fully stocked with a huge tequila selection. The esquites was cool, creamy, and incredible. Fire chimi had a touch of heat and were perfectly crisp. Street tacos were delicious. The birria burrito is something we will crave.

Manager said if we don't like the price, she can raise the cost of the chorizo. Price makes zero sense.

Staff are quick to help with orders or questions, but they're quite busy! They have some small or sharing options as food, but it's mostly cocktail focused. Great selections for drinks, very well made. Some fun and unique options - see menu. Had 2 different cocktails and tried a 3rd, just wonderfully mixed with lively flavors and nice presentation. Also had some of their small notes - pickles and another - both devoured quickly by our table. Great spot, thanks.

The service was okay, the Hostess was quick to find us a table which was awesome since we were a party of six, so that was super appreciated. We sat down and drink orders were pretty quick but they did take awhile, which shows that they really do make everything from scratch. Their drink menu had some really cool, unique drinks on it and I honestly wanted to try them all. If they had a flight, I would have absolutely not been able to say no. We were super impressed with their bourbon selection, and they actually had pretty good prices too, so we were able to try some great options. It was the perfect night cap for our group to indulge in one last drink before bed. Awesome spot to chill and chit chat.

Definitely recommend The Archive for incredible drinks by talented bartenders!

Not a great place for vegans anymore, but I will give them credit for making adjustments to swap out meat for a goat cheese croquette. All the other vegetarian plates we enjoyed in December is no longer offered. There are a couple of sandwiches (both prepared with ham), but the menu does not explain that they are sandwiches. The food we had was good quality except for the Niçoise salad dressing, which had the overly sweet taste of bottled dressing. The Le Bistro Burger, I am told, had a lovely charbroiled flavor; combining it with the goat cheese croquette, chili-fig jam, and caramelized onions made it a delicious choice for one of my companions. The Salad Bavette was enormous and my companion who ordered it had to take the rest home (it filled the container!). The appetizer goat cheese croquette used to come with a small bed of arugula, but this time it did not. The last time, we couldn't get through the door and had to wait an hour for a table. Now, lunchtime on a gorgeous Saturday and there are only two other tables occupied. My initial disappointment aside, our server was very kind, empathetic, professional, and helpful. The ambience is still the same, which is pleasant. Special thanks again to our lovely server.

What used to be a sketchy area is now filled with boutique shops, bustling businesses of tech and industry, arts, culture, and restaurants. One such upscale craft cocktail bar is Wolf Tree. If you didn't know it, you might feel as if you'd stepped into a hipster cocktail lounge in Brooklyn as you walk into Wolf Tree. They offer a variety of playful and inventive drinks. My friend was able to get a virgin cocktail but I just wish they had more than one single cocktail on the menu with vodka. With my choices somewhat limited, I went with a drink called "Friday I'm In Love": vodka, citrus, strawberry, mint, and bubbles. It looked beautiful when it arrived to the table and was a palate pleaser with sour, sweet, and minty flavors. They have weekly specials, classic-type cocktails, and what they call "happy meals" - a beer and shot combination. Don't fear, though, they still have Budweiser, Bud Lite, Miller High Life, and other draft beers for those feeling more traditional Upper Valley. We also ordered one of their charcuterie boards that featured local selections of cheese and meats, olives, pickled vegetables, cured mustards, and a baguette. A great selection but like most of Wolf Tree, a little on the expensive side. Overall I enjoyed my first trip to Wolf Tree and I'm glad hip places like this exist in the Upper Valley.
