My best friend and I stayed at Mia Boutique Hotel in Bodrum for 4 nights in early June 2014. We weren't quite sure of what to expect but in the end we were really happy with our stay. OK so the rooms are small by American standards, though I think one could compare them to the size of rooms in affordable hotels in Manhattan. But who spends time in their room when in Bodrum? We were only there to change clothes and at night to go to sleep and so the size of the room was not an issue for us. The rooms are clean, you have AC and absolutely the highest water pressure I've ever experienced any where when taking a shower, so you come out squeaky clean!
The staff are very welcoming, accommodating and helpful. The breakfast served on the terrace each morning is quite plentiful and very fresh and tasty so it is difficult to pass up. Pretty nice view too btw..
The location really can't be beat. We wanted to be centrally located but were concerned about street noise at night. Well here we were located in the middle of the Carsi neighborhood, about a 2 minute walk from the beach, 5 minutes from the Marina and about a 12-15 minute walk from the bus depot. We were surrounded by shops, restaurants and night clubs in every direction spanning many price ranges. Yet at night when we went to bed, admittedly earlier than many of the other visitors in town, we were surprised that we were so shielded from all the street sounds allowing us to get some much needed rest.
This hotel gets two thumbs up from us, we recommend it highly and hope to stay there again sometime.. read more
