We went to Tiamo for my 20th Birthday and had a party of around 6/7, Tiamo managed to get us in at a time where to our surprise the restaurant was empty (had my mother booked out the whole venue?) well no, we had in fact booked a time before their busy period which started as we left at the end of the evening. We had starters which included the homemade Garlic Bread which I will, without a doubt, recommend you try and also I had Calamari aka Squid which was cooked to perfection. For the main course, I enjoyed my usual pasta based dish of Lasagna in which I could not compare it to the Italian Connection as they were both tip top in every way. The food was hot upon arrival and even the chips had their own Italian twist. Drinks wise we all had water and for me, it was beer and also the house wine which went down very well with the food. The service was spot on and our waiter attended to our every need. I can not rate Tiamo high enough, we had a very enjoyable evening and we all left feeling very full indeed. Worth a visit if you in town or on a night out or special occasion. 10 out of 10 all round.

The meal was reasonable but the whole ambiance of the place was dreadful, we could not hear each other speak across the table, there was loud music in the background and a table of some 10 diners shouting at each other across the table. We complained to the 'so called' management but nothing was done to rectify the situation. We were charged the full price for the meal although we left before it was all eaten. The place is very authentic and so are the staff as they are always happy to help with your Italian if you wanna to give it a go, there is a nice selection of drinks and the range of food is amazing. As for the food well I am a massive fan when it comes to Lasagne and having ate one here I can say it was the best Lasagne I have had outside of Italy. The food was fresh and hot and it was all home made, what more could you want. The food mixed with the atmosphere and staff equals a fantastic evening out and would total recommend if you're looking for a place to eat.
