This is the worst barber shop in Homestead I have ever been to. The barber was rude named Angel E. Very unprofessional, He ruined my son's haircut and refused to fix it or apologize. He even kicked us out of the shop by saying he has the right to refuse to do business but yet left one side of my son's haircut uneven and said he wasn't going to finish it. Used to get cuts here years ago and the quality has diminished immensely since then. Last week I had to change up on my barber as he was out of town and I had a trip planned prior. Out of desperation I went to Miami Clippers, the 3336 NE Seventh St Homestead, FL 33033 United States location, and I left severely disappointed. I was pushed back on my lineup, sides of my face, beard, the guy even tried to make me a new face by pushing back my eyebrows. I think his name was DJ on the far left corner, do not trust him with any type of cut he is sure to disappoint. He can probably pour you a shot while you wait for a more certified barber to take care of you. After a week I start to see all of the new growth and this guy really messed me up badly. I will save my business next time and go on my trip scruffy because now I have to wait another week or two before all of my growth comes back and my actual barber, Adalberto, from Blend Kings Barbershop, can actually fix me up. With barbershops on every corner, you would think it's super easy to just go to any and get what you're looking for. That is easier said than done and after going to 2 or 3 barbershops in the area I realized just how much better Miami Clippers is. My personal barber is Osiel and he always comes through and I get complimented every time. I was in town for a memorial service and needed to have my hair cut before hand. My barber, Ary gave me a great high skin fade cut, and she was enjoyable to chat with during the session! Another highlight of the visit was that I got to see a famous rapper who was there with his assistant and bodyguard. Not sure which rapper it was, but the entire shop was buzzing with chatter because of it. A cool perk of Miami Clippers is that, with a haircut, you can choose to have a complimentary drink (or shot). However, I didn't partake that day, as my visit was in the middle of the day... and I'm not a giant fan of day drinking... plus I was going to a memorial service. I went to get my beard cleaned up, a new barber I'm not familiar named Angela completely shaved off my beard without my consent. I do not recommend going to this establishment because the barbers here ignore your request and do whatever they want to. Since moving...I decided I needed to find a new barber shop since the old one i used to go to now is a good hour to two hours away. I received a recommendation to try this place from a coworker and I am glad I listened. Firstly, this place looks really nice....like a high end barber shop. Big screen televisions everywhere, comfortable leather barber chairs. And they give a complimentary drink when you get a cut...wow. Secondly, they have a number of barbers there...allowing you to get in a chair with a minimum amount of time waiting. I noticed they also have services for a hot towel and a shave and I am so going to be trying that soon. Finally when the whole hair cut experience was over I was really impressed at how I looked. I haven't been inside of a shop in years since my barber does everything thru his home. (Did) he no longer cuts. I yelped for help and got these guys, Ray was my barber super duper professional guy honest speaking soft tone no rough neck BS the shop alone was beautiful but walking in you felt like a million bucks. Got a cut and bread trim for around $25. My con lol why charge a dollar even tho it's a buck why charge an extra buck to using card? I can't wrap my finger around it... Absolutely horrible. First time there. Got a standard cut. Barber spent maybe 10 min on the whole haircut. It was terribly uneven. He was getting frustrated as I complained so I just left. Seems as if this style of barbershop is a new trend - flat screen TVs, etc; modern chic. The service is great - well skilled barbers. However, some of them only speak Spanish, which can be difficult for non-Spanish speakers to communicate what you'd like done. During peak hours, seating is limited. You'll be lucky to find a sign in sheet, so best that you keep track of who you came in before. Pricing wise, it's mid range. They have no set ages for what they consider a kid - so if yours is on the bigger side, they may get charged for an adult cut. At first the loyalty program was after so many haircuts, you'd receive a free one. Then somewhere along the way, it was changed to $2 off. Lastly, pay with cash, or else if paying with plastic you'll be charged an additional $1. Not a bad place, but not my favorite. Best to know these things up front. read more

About 10yrs ago I was putting gas into the Radio station vehicle. Some guy walks up to me and says "hey where do you get your hair cut at?" I said "I've had the same barber for years." He says " I'm the owner of Miami Clippers, I'll have on of my barbers cut your hair for free." I was like holly crap this guy is crazy!!!! Well I finished putting gas went over to the barber shop and got my free haircut. After that I kept on going to the barbershop every 4-5 day to get a fresh cut. No matter who I cut my hair with i was always complimented on my hair cut. There was this one little kid always in the shop helping out after school. Ends up being one of the owners sons. I saw he started cutting hair. He would always ask me "hey want me to cut your hair?" I always said "Hell no, your brother is my main barber!!!" One day I go to the barber shop and Angel was off. His brother Joey was there, obviously he asked me again if I wanted him to cut my hair. After that day, Joey has always cut my hair and both of my sons hair. Around July of this year (2016) I moved to New Orleans. Oh how I wish I had Miami Clippers here. I just wanna say I have never been into a real Family Barber shop until i walked into Miami Clippers 10 years ago. It's always clean, family friendly TV on for the kids. They help out in the community. Most of all it make you feel like your at home. I would like to thank Albert (the owner) Joey, Angel and team for giving me the best service and haircuts for 10yrs. My sister's boyfriend was getting his hair cut, and was able to get serviced right away, so I can't really speak on the operation of things at a higher capacity. Overpriced and slow. Came here because other barbers closed early. Called in to check the traffic and if they did military cuts. They assured me they do all kinds of haircuts. Asked for a high fade. Got a high and tight. They felt the need to school me on what the military haircuts are after I told them it wasn't what I asked for. As if male troops don't know what they are.
