Short story: UNRELIABLE, CANCELLED APPOINTMENTS and POOR FOLLOW UP. Extremely unprofessional, waiting for WEEKS to get quotes and schedule appointments just to have them cancel DAY OF, DURING the time frame they are supposed to arrive. Took time off work and everything for them to leave me high and dry. Full story: My wife and I just moved into a new home. I've never had a more difficult time trying to give a company my business. I've been back and forth with them for weeks and it's like pulling teeth to get them to follow up or show up. The first consultation/quote visit was perfect. On time, went off without a hitch. Everything after that spiraled. During the full consultation visit, I asked for a full quote including future work just to get an idea of all the work we will need over the next 6 months to a year, including a large project that requires digging up my yard . I received that quote right away, but informed them from the start that I wanted to get started on some of the simpler things sooner than the large projects. Upon contacting them to revise the quote with the jobs we needed to get started with (outlets added, a few TV mountings/wirings) and schedule a day for the work, I received a text that he's "working on my quote now." I was told I would receive the quote "shortly," but never got it. I had to call them back again to get the quote sent to me and left a message on the voice mail. I was originally told we can schedule only once I approve this quote. Well, I still never received it, so I still couldn't schedule. A few more days went by and I sent a text message to follow up. I asked if they received my voice mail, if I could get the new quote and how I can schedule the work. I received a text back w just a phone number and instructions to "call Monday." I had to wait over the weekend, so that whole 1st week was burned attempting to schedule something. I still didn't receive the quote over the next few days, so I called to schedule anyway. However, they now had no availability the rest of that week, so ANOTHER week was burned. I was told there would be no availability to schedule the following week until THURSDAY, so damn near a 3rd week was going by until my appointment...but I set it. Mind you, I still hadn't received or "approved" a quote, despite setting the appointment. I got tired of waiting. This is where it gets better. I took time off work, was given a window of 12-2 that they would arrive today, Thursday. I even received a text message the morning of to confirm my appointment. Which comically changed the arrival window to 12-6. I confirmed via text and received the text confirmation back THAT MORNING that the appointment was on. Then, at 12:50pm, 50 minutes AFTER the arrival window had begun, I received a call telling me they would not be coming out. I was told AGAIN that I would need to schedule for a FOLLOWING week on Tuesday. My furniture is already all moved in the middle of these rooms to accommodate the work. Speaking to them, they just keep pushing me off, but won't reschedule anyone else to fit me into the schedule. They just seem to be content leaving me in the dust. Instead of rescheduling another client for a few days, they would rather just push me into the 3rd week of waiting, with zero regard for my time. I genuinely don't know how I can even trust that they'll be here on Tuesday. It took until 2 days before the appointment (2 weeks AFTER I asked) to just get me the damn quote to approve. Next week would officially spill into the 4th work week (3 actual weeks of lapsed time) of delays. Awaiting on a call from management or owner, who is supposedly going to reach out. However, if that's any timeline like the appointment scheduling I should get that call back sometime in September...maybe. I'll update this post and advise if anything transpires positively from this. I genuinely wanted to work with them because I heard their quality was good, but I can't tell if they are wholly unwilling to do the work. read more

The company messaged me about scheduling an appointment. We discussed several dates and times and we decided on a time that worked for us both. And about 30 minutes later they emailed that i was out of their seevice area. I left for work and low and behold i saw 1 of their service vans pass right by me as i sat at the red light. This review is only based on the service call experience, not the service, as I did not use them after being given a quote. I called on a Saturday morning to describe a problem with the electricity in a rental home (burning smell followed by stove and a/c not working). They said the could send someone out that day, which was great, but I would need to pay a $297 service fee as soon as they arrived and before they started work. Any work done would be in addition to this $297. I understand that it is the weekend, but I still feel like $297 is to much to pay just for showing up. I will say that they were friendly, but the price just seemed exorbitant to me and I will not use them. read more

I received a call when they were on their way and they arrived a little earlier, which was awesome. They did a great job removing our outdoor ceiling fans and installing our new ones. The only minor concern I had and reason I gave them 4 stars is tied to the pricing -- it is a tad on the high end but I feel that I've paid for quality work. For someone sticking to a strict budget, try to collect several quotes before accepting the estimate. Fortunately, I had a little bit of flexibility in the budget, so I was able to proceed. The job I challenged them with was absolutely a nightmare for me, yet the technician was instrumental in reassuring me, what , when and how it will be corrected. Coustomer care is absolute amazing, the knowledge and fair estimate given was one I could not refuse compared to other electricians in the area. What impressed me the most, is the level of responsibility they take in securing that the job is completed up to code and guaranteed without questions, they worked with the inspectors from FPL and in no time I was back in business. I had met Kent at a seminar I attended early in 2015. I heard him talk about his business and how important customer service was to him. I wasn't in need of an Electrician at the time, but I am a Real Estate Broker and clients always ask for referrals when they need work done. I gave the information to a few of my agents who were very pleased with the service. A couple of months ago, a very expensive light fixture in my office stopped working. My business partner got onto Angies List before asking me if I knew somebody and ironically found Wiremasters from their high ratings. We were able to get an appointment very fast and the service charge for an electrician to come out to our office was disclosed from the beginning. On the first visit, two electricians actually came to our office and spent well over 2 hours checking every possible problem. Unfortunately, it turned out to be something defective with the light fixtures, but we really felt these electricians tried everything and totally exhausted their resources. Thankfully, we were able to call Kraftsmade, the company that made the lamp and order the part that the electricians told us was defective. Wiremasters came back to install the part after we received it from Kraftsmade and once again the service was great. We were given a window of 2 to 4PM for them to show up. Kent actually called himself about an hour before they came to let us know they were finishing a job and would be heading over afterwards. HORRIBLE service. I am a single mom of 2 babies and I waited 1.5 MONTH to get anything done. First, they gave me wrong information on the cameras available. Then - never sent me an estimate for 2 weeks. Then I started calling them every day, with my babies on my arms, asking for an astimate. They never fallowed up, so I had to call every day reminding them to send me the estimate. After 1.5 month still no service. When I called and explained that I must leave the state for a business trip and was counting on the cameras being set up for my babies, the OWNER said they apologise and that they wont do it. The appointment was on a Thursday, after 1.5 month of waiting and on a Wednesday they told me - NO. HORRIBLE. read more

Miami Electric Masters came through for us on a very tight deadline. From initial estimate to job completion- We received email reminders, confirmations, and follow ups. Plus Robert arrived on time, knew his stuff and copleted a pretty big job in about a day and a half. These are the cornerstones of good customer service, but somehow very lacking today. Great experience! Freddy showed up on time and got to work right away. He was friendly and professional and was patient enough to talk me through the whole process of what he was doing. We needed someone to come install an extra electrical outlet and he got the job done very quickly. Once the outlet was installed, Freddy cleaned up and even patched the small hole in the wall up.
