This one is situated on a small retail park just off the M60 so convenient for my other half to go to on his way home from work. I had the worst hangover (see previous 3 check ins for how that happened.....) and was desperate for food. I ordered a large fully loaded meal with a fillet burger, piece of chicken, coleslaw and water to drink. I also had a gravy. Dan had a box of chicken with fries. The burger bun was dry and hard, the chicken burger was dry and flavourless. The chips were really unpleasant, again hard & dry and the gravy was also flavourless with a horrible texture. The coleslaw was good but then it comes in a sealed pack so they can hardly get that wrong. No issues with the water either. Don't choose this place its really awful.

The inside of the restaurant is busy and very clean, the area isn't rough so you are able to speak to a member of staff without being separated by a sheet of glass. I have found that the chicken is cooked very well and isn't overly greasy which can very easily become soggy in other outlets.

Only downside is that the "hot" peri peri isn't that hot to me, but their chilli sauce dip has a bit more balls to it so that makes up for it. The chips are average, as in their no different to most other takeaway places - but that's not to say they're bad. Could've used some (more) salt on them. There are a few tables inside as well if you wanted to eat on site, though I've only ever done take out. At under a fiver for a satisfying lunch - and that's being spoken by someone with a healthy capacity for food - this is definitely a no brainer for going on the lunch rotation at work.

Literally KFC is just so full of grease and oil that it's disgusting. At least the chicken is hot. Apart from that it's just mostly grease. Being sober, I was in a good place to judge the quality of the food, despite the relative lateness of the hour. I actually opted for the basic donner with salad, chilli sauce, garlic mayo & the standard whole green pickled Peperoncini chilies (a condiment combination recommended by my cousin - who's been here before - but with the peperoncini added myself - gotta have those). I'd say it was a decent kebab for an after party binge, but not necessarily one I would choose for during the day. This place gets extra marks, however, for their use of lavash bread. It's advertised as Naan on the menu, but it isn't, it's much thinner and quite tasty, making a change from the norm. Perhaps, for this reason, I'll return to try their chicken or mixed kebab.
