A few of the employees had their mask under their nose food was cold and salty. I wanted to cancel the order after seeing the employees not following the CDC guidelines. Completely surprised to hear that Pittbull is a partner of Miami subs. It is completely remodeled and looks fantastic! Keeping the Miami theme alive the restaurant features several big murals of the Miami bridge, skyline etc.. includes big screen tv's, and it seems they're going to start serving ice cream and liquor as well because they have advertisements for both and what seems to be a bar. Ordering was easy, the cashier was nice although she did get our order wrong. My husband and I ordered 10 wings, fries, and a coleslaw with a drink. They forgot the coleslaw, no big deal but let's please talk about the wings. The tiny microscope wings. Like none I've ever seen before. I have fairly small hands and one was half the size of my pinky as you'll be able to see in the pics. I complained to the waitress as they now have servers. And they were kind enough to bring out 4 regular sized wings extra for the trouble which I thought was very nice. The manager came out and apologized for the experience and asked if he could keep the tiny drumstick to show his manager. Overall the taste of the food was undeniably good and fresh, service was good for the most part and I would definitely recommend this spot but maybe order something that's not the wings. What I don't understand is why the hell do they take so long so long through the drive thru. Honestly Im always in line for over 10 minutes even if I'm the only car. And if there's a line , don't bother. You'll be there for over 20/30 minutes. It's unacceptable. Only reason why I'm giving them 3 stars is because I love the salads. read more

It is what it is! A pretty good fast food place! I remember when Miami Subs was all over, it's a shame most of them have closed down. They still make great Philly cheesesteak! Their milkshakes are excellent! For about $10 you can get yourself a pretty good meal. Hamburgers are great however my last one was a little over cooked. My family absolutely loves the Philly cheesesteaks here. Another great aspect of this place is the customer service. While I was waiting for my order, I received updates from the guy who took my order. Everyone there is friendly and fast-paced which are two traits that can be hard to maintain at the same time but they manage to do it. Today, I decided to go inside because I didn't want to go through the drive thru and when I had my order ready, they made sure to not let me leave without a refill which I thought was very considerate of them. When it comes to fast food, Miami Subs is better than its competitors. I actually really like their Greek Salad as well as their Chocolate Chip cookies. They do take a bit longer than other drive thru's so don't come here if you're in a rush. Let's just start off by saying that the bathroom in this place needs A) a seriously cleaning and/or B) to be completely gutted and redone. Just one word describes this bathroom YUCK! The person that took our order must have been the owner or the manager and was just plain dry. They had a poor girl working the drive thru with a full arm cast and seeing her try to scoop ice cream with one had was just sad and obsurd. The ice cream case was less than desirable. For being a fast food joint the food took over 10 minutes to be ready. We all had the Gyros and they were huge and messy and all over the place. The price you pay for a meal should equate to a great take-out dinner. In this case, I was definitely overcharged for the quality of food I received. I order the 10 Krispy Wing platter (wings, a handful of fries, and celery) and a small Coke. My total was $12.00!! I was skeptical but I was in the drive-thru so I couldn't back out. The best things about the meal are in this order: coke, fries, celery w/blue cheese. The wings were horrible. They don't taste anything like o remember them tasting years ago, when people couldn't resist going to Miami Subs whenever they saw one. They tasted like freezer burn: wet paper bag...no taste at all. No amount of blue cheese will save them. I'm not suggesting the buffalo sauce because it also tasted like crap. I and my fiancé went there about two weeks ago after not having been in years. I ordered the chicken tender sandwich and he ordered fish and chips. My chicken tender did not come with fries and the sandwich is small for the price. His fish and chips came with one of those frozen fish patties and some fries. It was like a kids meal. So basically I ate half of my sandwich and gave the rest so my fiance wouldn't be a baby. I looked around and noticed the guy who came in after us, who knew the manager, got a loaded cheesesteak. Greasy, delicious food with horrible service but I'd be stupid to expect more. I'm pretty sure that this is a chain but most of them have disappeared throughout Miami in the recent years. The burgers are great and huge and the hotdogs are just alright. They also serve different flavors of ice cream and surprisingly baklava. Tonight was the first time I have had Miami Subs in a looooong time. The cheesesteak sub was as good as I'd remembered. I could do without the little African American princess at the drive thru window though! I stopped at window #1 and saw no one, so I proceeded to the 2nd window. I've been enjoying the particular location for a number of years. At first, for a nostalgic Coney Island Nathan's hot dogs and Nathan's fries and then as recommended by the manager, their Steak'nCheese sub. Very good at first blush, but each subsequent encounter surpassed the previous combined with some of the best service, EVER! Life kept rolling on as sandwiches kept improving to higher limits. Chicken, bacon, and cheese for a discovery of WOW! Very few hot dogs since my first visit 8yrs ago, nothing else has changed until very recently. The manager and staff has been displaced, a building revamp has been delayed after delay and the warm and friendly ambiance is beginning to lack in its familiarity. At least one of the chefs has remained but the restaurant hasn't served iced tea in months and don't seem to be in any hurry to set the brewer in a workable corner. Is this the tell tale signs of increased prices, smaller portions, reduced service and the end of a well managed much appreciated hard to find, GR8 eating locations not serving same ole, greasy and often tasteless Cuban food! read more

Has to be the best place to eat in Mia, I have always loved it. But now with the new renovation it's breathe taking . Staff is always joyful and full of spirit. Always seeking your comfort. Love the food but the service inside is terrible. Went inside to place my order and no one seemed to care. Just stood there standing for a while and when someone final came around they apparently thought it was more important to answer the phone than to actually help a paying customer. Also, they seemed to be catering strictly to the people at the drive thru only so I had to walk out and get in my and go to the drive thru just to place an order. Great place! Excellent manger! The manager took my order personally and made sure to get all the small details right as I mentioned it was for my pregnant wife. (She had a VERY specific order). He even gave me a free cookie when he gave us our order BUT he was specific in saying that it was for my wife to give to our baby!!! He made me laugh and my wife really appreciated the cookie as she was thinking about ordering one and never asked me for it so it was an extra sweet surprise! Wow. I hadn't been here in 10 years, and it's a completely different place. The interior was completely renovated and looks great. I had the chicken pita which was delicious. The chicken was hot and tender, the lettuce, tomatoes and tziki sauce were all fresh and tasty. The seasoned fries were as delicious as I had remembered them. They have a different service model now. You order and they have someone bring the food to your table. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The manager Giovanni came by my table to see if everything was okay or if he could get me anything. That's a nice touch. The place seems to be well run now and it shows. Remodeling very nice but since management changed the service has gone from bad to worse the person at the register got my done in order wrong after repeating it a couple time and then my to go order was wrong too. A piece of chickpeas dropped from s customer's plate and the put it back. The customer was so upset he ask for a refund and left.
