Do you provide the service of paying the bills and handling our money when we are gone to our son who cannot manage our estate? This means paying all the bills and keeping up the needs of due dates, investments, renewals on everything we have.

Hi, Chanel - I am so sorry I didn't see your post until today, more than 2 days months later! I didn't realize Yelp had this "Community Questions" section and have only seen requests people posted.…

As I first visited they were renovating the exterior and landscape refresh and I found that to be so important. Residents get to look out their windows and enjoy something fresh and beautiful to look at. Other first impressions were multiple air filtration systems outside the doors of every room. Not sure if that was a 'leftover' from COVID kind of thing or what - but I liked it. Shared rooms were small and good to know is only two visitors at a time. It's hard to imagine it but the reason is purely for function. Placing 3 chairs around I think would be very difficult to navigate anymore. Luckily for those who might not like shared rooms - singles are available. If you've been saving money all your life and here - this might just be the time to spend a little extra if you don't like people around. My friend's neighbor was a pleasant person - and that's what I've found going to these types of places - its not bad to have another nearby... If your friend or family member is here its your job to visit. People make up excuses and there really is no excuse. I was able to slip in 30 minutes before closing after work and anybody can do that. I think visitors are an important part of recovery. You can't visit your friend or your mom? Just keep the excuses to yourself I don't want to hear it.

San Leandro Healthcare Center is a scam. It's had many changed names to runaway from all the bad…read morereviews. To call this "skilled" nursing is a farce. This business is rotten from its core. The administration will cheat and lie to get rid of patients when copays incur regardless of your health condition. They will encourage you to stay only as long as your insurance covers 100% of the cost. A "Safe Discharge" cannot be relied on at all. They will do everything to criminally kick you to the curb before you are medically healthy enough to take care of yourself to avoid copays mounting up. They will bum-rush you out to rent your bed to fresh patients only to avoid billing copays. To top it off, the language and cultural barriers are extremely. Nice workers but confusion is constant. The food sucks and your call lights are ignored. Pray you never experience an emergency. This is your warning... Avoid the San Leandro Healthcare Center.

Clean and organized. 3. Variety of decent meals. 4. Just a block from downtown San Leandro and BART. Convenient to walk/wheel for lunch, library, barber shop, bakery, etc. 5. Pleasant dining room and television room 6. Morning activities offered in television room. 7. Easy to communicate with staff. 8. Facility is not too large. The missing star is related only to the size of some of the shared rooms. Not unusual. My elderly family member with quite advanced dementia has been here for over two years. I have visited at least once weekly, and at different times. I've had the opportunity to observe the staff both with him and with other residents. They are unfailingly kind and patient-- and cheerful, too. It's rare in a residential facility (this is his third), and worth everything. Too often a facility looks beautiful, but has awful care. Rosemont's care is exceptional.

I needed advice about help I needed in an area that Alice Home Care did not service and Alice was very helpful with a referral and also helped me with concerns I had with that other agency. The direct care I had with working with Alice Home Care was over the top. We were in the pandemic. My uncle had fallen and had Covid and needed home care. Alice met me at the house and we proceeded to get information from my cousin about what was needed for his father. Then my cousin fell ill during the talk. Alice saw the severity of the situation and brought in help within a couple of hours. This was amazing. And so badly needed. Eventually a longer term solution was found by Alice and the care was used for several months until my uncle moved to assisted living. Alice Home Care came to the rescue, brought in care that the family appreciated, and was very open in communications.

I had help from my family for the first week but did not know much help I would need after that. At 84 and living alone in a house with many stairs, I anticipated needing some care. I called Alice after the first week, seeking help with a range of concerns - I could not easily ice the wound on my own. Cooking and even minimal housekeeping were. still impossible. Having support nearby when I began showering felt essential. Alice listened carefully to my needs and hopes and set up a caretaker beginning just two days later. I could not have been more satisfied, my helper was organized, efficient, and very responsive. I felt cared for, the house felt clean and well stocked, she cooked and cleaned up as needed with minimal direction. Highly recommend.
