Highly recommended!…read more Shane acted as my listing agent and worked efficiently to get my house sold and efficiently helped with navigating any issues that came up. He was always a quick message away and his effort and dedication was evident from the beginning. He helped with multiple issues that came up including negotiations and repairs. But most importantly, he was honest and considered my best interest in the decisions he recommended, which the other reviews here will also attest to. I actually found Shane through Yelp and am very happy that I made contact. I know who I'm going to the next time I have a real estate-related issue.

I was amazed how quickly he was able to get both transactions completed. The condo was listed at the end of January and in a couple of days we had a firm buyer. This was in a building that had similiar properties that were on the market for weeks or months. Ours was in contract in a few days and closed 3 weeks later. It was the fastest sale of a property that I've personally experienced in my life. Once we had a buyer, Shane focused on helping us negotiate buying another investment property. We found a house in Henderson. The house had just been listed and by the time we were able to get an appointment to tour the house (Feb 10) there were 4 or 5 other interested parties. We liked the house and Shane advised us what to bid. Then we waited, but Shane was working behind the scenes negotiating with the seller's agent. With his skills, he was able to get the seller's agent to accept our bid over the others. It didn't stop there. Once we got the appraisal and inspection reports, Shane was able to get the seller to agree to the lower appraisal amount, saving us thousands off the asking price. We closed escrow about a month after our initial tour of the house. Shane coordinated and negotiated everything for us. Even worked with the lender that I had chosen. He certainly made both transactions go smoothly. We wouldn't think of working with a different agent when we're ready to buy/sell property.

Of…read morecourse they make it clear that's not what they are doing and that there are no guarantees. BTW Scott does not show up. They hooked me in with a free introductory presentation over lunch. We sat through the first used car salesman who would start many questions with "raise your hand if." Five obviously yes questions culminated in a request to sign up for the 3 day $997 class. At the beginning of the meeting they said "don't leave early because everyone will get a $250 travel voucher. Lunch turned out to be a lunch meat sandwich in a box with a bag of chips and a apple. No drink. I was a sucker and stayed for the travel voucher. Tried to use it. Found out that you could purchase items, wine and travel. Tried to purchase a over priced kitchen mixer. Could I apply the $250 to the cost......no. They let you apply a small amount. With the $50 discount it was cheaper to buy the same product online. Voucher worthless. Even my condo presentation people came through with the $200 Visa card. The second speaker was a bigger used car salesman. He was selling a 2 1/2 day options training class for $299. Actually probably a better deal. More people would probably make money trading options than a "wholesale (no repair) flip" scheme. Save your money. Scott, bring back the show.

I have been slowly investing in single family homes since 2005 and I decided to attended a free…read moreseminar in Torrance, CA recently to see if I could pick up a couple of good tips or learn about different markets. Scott himself was not present, of course. This first presenter, "Trent" provided some very basic strategies about a few flip concepts. The "meat" of the highly scripted and staged presentation is ongoing promotion of a $2,000 three-day seminar. Based on further research on my part, I later learned that the $2,000 seminar is basically a sales pitch for $20K to $40K worth of "additional training" and "mentoring." All of the success stories that they described came from these people who bought these additional materials or training. I believe that this is horribly deceptive, misleading and unethical and it seems like they are preying on the unsophisticated and the elderly. The address and phone in this listing cannot be found on their website. Hmmmm... What really confused me was their "no credit" loan process. There were no details on how this really works, and there are zero opportunities for questions or discussion from the audience. The communication was all one-way, well crafted and tightly controlled. The tax liens presentation was interesting, but it had a $1,500 "membership" for access. The presenter was one of the slickest guys I have ever seen. I'm a marketing professional myself, but I was just marveling at his presentation style. I just looked up my 401K. I've been doing 12.52% since 2009 with pre-tax dollars, so I don't know how much an 18% lien with after-tax dollars really beats that. I left after about 3-1/2 hours, losing out on my "free gifts" in the process. A very useful review that I just found, consistent with my experience: http://wafflesatnoon.com/2014/01/07/scott-yancey-seminar-review/ Bigger Pockets also has a discussion going: http://www.biggerpockets.com/forums/79/topics/88107-what-to-expect-with-scott-yancey Scary complaints on the Utah Consumer Advocate site: http://www.utahconsumeradvocate.com/complaint-forum/professional-marketing-international-pmi/

Selling a home after a family member passes away is always going to be super stressful, but my…read moresituation was especially difficult because the home my late uncle owned in Vegas was co-owned by my ailing grandmother, and I was out of the state trying to manage her care. From the moment I reached out to him, Tony (and, later, his associate Rachael DiPietro) made the homeselling process incredibly smooth, keeping me in the loop at each step of the way, instantly responding to every question I had, and making sure to look out for our family's best interests. After a couple phone calls, I met him in person when I flew in to Vegas to move some things out of the home, and he checked every box, just a genuinely smart, knowledgable person. He went above and beyond at every step, hiring the contractors to clean the home, handle landscaping, and photograph it for sale. He literally got on his hands and knees with a bottle of Goo Gone to remove a bunch of carpet tape marks left in the kitchen! Who does that?? As for the sale, we ended up with multiple bids right away and it closed above asking. Except for one notary signing, everything was handled remotely and digitally, which was exactly what we needed at this difficult time. I don't know how it could have gone any smoother. Incredibly impressed, I can't recommend him highly enough.

We joked that Tony was like a ninja with how fast he would respond to our questions. Thanks to their experience and guidance we were able to put in a clean offer and land our dream home! It was actually only the second home we toured with Tony on the same day we met him but the moment we walked in we just knew it was the one. We sadly never got the chance to meet Rachael in person but she was always right there to help whenever Tony was tied up. Before choosing them we had interviewed a few different realtors. We ended up going with Tony and Rachael because they genuinely cared about helping their clients find the right home and they were one of the only teams who actually responded quickly on a weekend. During the interview Tony impressed us with his honesty and his passion for negotiating. He told us he lives for the deal and that he believes winning an offer is not always about paying the highest price. He focuses on asking the right questions to understand what the seller actually wants and then crafts a strong offer based on that insight. He has great rapport with other agents in town and his experience, creativity, and willingness to put real skin in the game really stood out to us. We also appreciated his transparency about fees. He explained that there are no hidden broker costs on his end and that he builds his business on referrals and ethics. His contract allows sellers to cancel within twenty four hours and also allows clients to replace him if needed, which told us he stands by his service. Another thing that surprised us in a good way was that he did not push any lenders or inspectors on us. He said he has people he can recommend but he preferred that we find inspectors and lenders we felt confident about which was refreshing. When we bought a home in California our previous agent tried to package everything together which felt limiting. Tony actually encouraged us to pick someone with more than twenty years of experience and to make sure they used a thermal imaging scanner. When we toured the first house with Tony he ripped that place apart in the best way possible. He pointed out misaligned cabinets, strange dead spaces, backyard noise and everything else you can think of. That was the moment we knew he was not just trying to make a quick sale. He was honest with us and wanted us to get something we would genuinely love. So when the next house turned out to be the one we wanted to put an offer on we trusted his judgment. It helped that so many people in Vegas knew his name and told us he was one of the best. Tony was with us through every part of the process from the inspection to the final walkthrough. He even negotiated seller credits for us even though the inspection report came back pretty clean. What truly sets Tony apart though is that he continued to check in with us even after closing. He and Rachael also gave us a thoughtful little gift to help cover the dents the sellers left behind when removing their staging furniture. After moving in, we discovered glue traps and rat traps in the attic along with some recently dead rats which clearly had not been disclosed. Tony and Rachael jumped in right away and were able to get the sellers to cover the pest removal cost which was such a relief because we really thought we were going to have to pay for that ourselves. They went above and beyond for us from start to finish and even after closing. We would absolutely recommend Tony and Rachael to anyone looking to buy or sell in Vegas! We are so grateful that we found them and we almost can't wait to buy another house just so we can work with them again hehe.
