I did not really like the filter/editing she did to the photos because our skin color ended up looking quite sallow and sickly. Also, the photos ended up quite dark because we decided to meet before sunset and it was too late - the sun was not bright enough. When we got to the location, we saw a lot of other photographers there wrapping up their sessions, because they knew when the light would be gone. I wish she had told us to start earlier. She seems like a very lovely and friendly lady.

They need a family photographer for the many years to come and I thought she'd be a good fit. The day of the shoot, she made remarks about me not paying her going rate to my DIL, Chelsea, (implying my DIL should be grateful she accepted the assignment ). I was shocked. I thought I paid her normal rate? I chalked it up to a stressful day & let it go. Briana left the session promising 3+ pictures for a "sneak peek" in 2 days, gallery in 2-3 weeks. Great! After 3-4 days, I texted briefly with my excitement for the "sneak peek". She responded saying how busy she is, listed all of her activities, sent a screenshot of a picture stored in her phone. It was awful. But I was still optimistic, and she said she'd send the rest from home that night. I waited, but I did not hear from her for days. I didn't want to bug her, because she made me feel stupid the first time I asked. I waited a few more days and then I sent a text saying "don't forget me ". Still no response. After a few MORE days, she responded implying I have not paid my balance (as if that was why there was nothing given). I Kindly reminded her that she still hadn't sent the link for me to pay? A few more days went by again, no communication. I requested the invoice again. Again, nothing. Finally, weeks after session I received invoice & paid immediately. I'm so disappointed with the pictures. I was really looking forward to these! They have an unusual orange cast, and are darker than her normal style seen on IG and FB. There are cactus coming out of the middle of my daughter's head in a few shots, and it looks like she has a unicorn horn. Another shot where my (very petite) DIL had a michelin sized tire for a chin (that doesn't even exist! She is tiny!!! It was a horrible angle - up the nose angle). I will try to attach here to show you! I thanked her for her work, never mentioning disappointment so as not to hurt her feelings, and asked if we could purchase 2 more images of their dogs? The dogs were supposed to be the focal point of the session, but I only got 2 shots with the pups. Briana replied to my DIL with a very unprofessional, nasty text saying we need to quit "hounding" her and how busy her schedule is. She proceeded to list all of the things she had to do and that we just needed to understand that "school comes first"! Briana, your poor planning is not my emergency. You have a thing or two to learn about kindness and grace. You are rude and unprofessional. You do not EVER have to worry about my family, or referrals, in the future!

I wanted pink highlights, I wanted a reddish copper wash, and I have also asked for a formal updo for a wedding all looked incredible. While you can't tell from the photo I have extremely frizzy curly hair and can attest she also does the best blowouts I have ever had. They last forever without a hint of frizz. She takes incredible photos and makes me feel like a model whenever she gets after photos of my hair. So while I have not had professional photos done I can tell she has an eye and passion for this and highly recommend her.
