He wrapped my neck with this tape that is supposed to act as some sort of muscle tighteners. Then, he gave me the electromagnetic apparatus to take home so that I could wear it all night. He also gave me a few exercises to work on today and tonight. Dr. Kupcho was really laid back and seemed to have an action plan to get me back in the swing of things later on this week. He also didn't criticize me for running, which some chiros have done in the past. Great guy, nice methods and I'll be back in the morning for round two. After feeling no improvement and turning to medical testing, I have since been diagnosed with nerve myotonia -- I literally have an incurable disease of the nervous system. Measurable nerve hyperexcitability. This was not even suspected in TWP's nerve assessment. As far as treatment, I'd recommend you do your homework on the use of an integrator before you behgin treatment here. they do not employ manual manipulation, none. Perhaps a dozen visits, the only thing touched by hand was my shoes, which I was instructed not to remove. They're also very stringent on multiple visits per week, which would've been fine had I felt any changes. I was told if I couldn't make up the number of visits per week because I could only make it two days a week because of work and childcare, I would have to be treated 3 days a week for more weeks if not months longer. The PT is unsupervised and uncoached. I did an excercise entirely wrong one day to see if anyone noticed. No one did. You monitor yourself. Really felt exploited in the end :(

I decided to add Chiropractic care regularly into my life after a friend (Kristin) suggested that I go in for an initial assessment because of neck and back issues as well as an overall sense of stress, fatigue and low energy. Dr. Vic adjusts my spine using a gentler technique, teaches (based on experience and research) and motivates me to continue the path. Each visit reminds me to keep seeking wellness and health.
