I was lucky enough to attend a goat yoga class on the farm but the Painted Farmer also offers painting with the animals; children's events; as well as cookie decorating. The website will have all the events listed. It was very easy to find Painted Farmer. It is not too far from Rt. 795 and straightforward. Parking is available in the front. The yoga class was a basic class with modifications provided. Four goats were in the barn with us. I liked that you could do the yoga moves or just play with the goats, which is what I mostly did. The goats liked my mat as well so I didn't have much room, so that is my excuse. Yoga mats are provided but you can bring your own as well. The farm has goats; pigs; alpacas; a cow; chickens; and a sheep. After class we could feed the animals. I didn't see a hand washing area so thankfully I had some hand sanitizer in the car. I will be back to paint with the goats as that sounds like a lot of fun!!!

The two individuals managing the venue seem to find any excuse to withhold it. I suspect they operate a small scam, with one playing the "good cop" and the other the "bad cop." For instance, one may verbally assure you that bringing items like finger foods, cookies, or cheese is permissible. However, once you do so, you're informed that you've violated the contract because the permission wasn't in writing, breaching their strict "rules." Additionally, if someone steps out to their car to smoke a cigarette, one of the managers may follow them, take photos, and use this as grounds to withhold the deposit. $1000 I'm assuming they split it 50/50 between themselves. Or maybe get some type of bonus. Well fellas I hope a little thing called karma bites yall where God split yall.
