Terrible curbside service by "managers" Kayla and Jennifer. Still awaiting corporate to call. Unprofessional people working. Brought my order, I got home to find they left something out, called the store, immediately was told they were probably out of it without even checking my invoice. After checking they discovered it was paid for and they forgot to include it, just come back down and pick up. I live in the North West. The only reason I chose this store for pickup was they had what I needed without waiting a week for it to have it mailed to me. When I returned to the store the second day I called and asked to speak to a manager, the person on the phone laughed and said were all managers here. I told them I would contact corporate on their behavior and lack of unprofessionalism. As one of the other managers brought my item to the curbside, I asked her name she nastily told me to have a good day then yelled unbelievable talking about me as she went back into the store. I could expect this behavior from young employees but if these two people were supposedly managers--- never. I am still waiting for corporate to contact me. Two of the least friendly cashiers I have ever met. However they do offer Pearl Necklace Classes, and no, I'm not making that up. @__@ It us a large store, with jewelry, and scrap booking supplies, as well as the usual. However, no fabric anymore, veryittle ribbon, and no lace. The floors are clean, and the bathroom is well lit, I have to see it out if toilet paper, but I don't always go on the busiest days, so do t quote me on that toilet pepper thing. First time visiting this Michael's this weekend. They have a REALLY great yarn selection! I found the stock of knitting needles lacking a little bit, as they only had a small selection of bamboo needles, but...I got what I came for, so its ok. They had a 40% coupon that I was able to use right from my phone (sometimes technology still surprises me, what can I say.) Employees were polite, and the store was clean. :) I'll be back, next time for scrapbooking supplies! read more

I come to this store pretty frequently especially to get some of my cosplaying gear. It isn't as nice as the one on eastern off the 215, but then again its a biased opinion since I used to work at that one and I loved every moment of it except Christmas in july -december. Holiday over kill but that's most retail stores. Anyway! Not a bad selection and they always have what I need in stock plus the phone app is very convenient for coupons and special deals. I don't usually interact with the employees because I already know what I need but they have always been friendly especially the ones at the registers. Terrible management! I dropped something off for framing with a completion date of 10/13/2019. To date it's going to be another 10 days 10/27/2019. It was a gift that is now going to be very late. I had to follow up every time only to be disappointed and the management staff clearly hides behind employees to deliver bad news. This convenient location (lots of area shopping- strip malls) has been my go-to store for arts & crafts for many years. (There used to be a Jo-Ann's on the next street but it closed.) The sunday ad is going paperless- join the e-mail club for coupons. Open 7 days. Classes available. I used to be into scrapbooking but the shift has gone to paper crafting and jewelry making (great selection)- yes, I dabble. When I was planning my wedding, we would come here for some ideas. This is a great place to find everything for crafts except fabric (Jo-Ann's has that niche). I usually just check out the jewelry making section (front, far right side) these days. read more

I like Michael's, but this location is not my favorite. Just seems cramped, messy at times, and check out is slow. The location is conveniently located in a strip mall with many other popular well known stores and fast food chains. Michael's itself is good for your crafting supplies. They don't have everything but they come close. They have good sales and usually have coupons in their weekly mailer. read more

I went in for a picture frame. The store was well stocked with any craft item or idea that may cross your mind. Young and old could spend hours here and leave with a bag full of goodies for their next hands-on project. I would say the employees are the reason I give it a 3. WTF!?!?! I've spent $14 on stickers!!!???? STICKERS!?!?! Oh. My. Goodness. I usually don't go to Michael's if it's not the holiday season. But no matter what, year after year, I always find myself at Michael's during the months of Nov-Dec....at least once. This year, I ventured in here to buy items to make homemade Christmas cards. I went in here to do the michaels challenge. They were all so amazingly nice and sweet and kept asking if we needed anything. If nothing else this is by far the nicest Michaels staff I've ever encountered. The store was clean and had a great selection of flowers. read more

I went to buy a cricut maker machine because the Michaels website told me that this was 1 of 2 local Michaels that had them in stock. Without checking their stock, I was blatantly told " Nah, we're all out". I asked the girl if she could check the other stores to which I get this look of plain laziness from the girl. She had me wait while she checked, calls me over and tells me that they have it at the 5th Street location in North Vegas. She tells me that they'll have it waiting for me, to go to the register to check out. After 25 mins on the road, I get to the next Michaels. The lady there tells me "we don't do holds here, let me call to the back and see if we have it in stock". I was not amused to her reply. She calls to the back via radio and I hear them say "is it on hold?" The look on her stupid face was that of annoyance. Then she has me move to the side to attend other customers. What the fuck am I? She then tells me that she's gonna go get it. She comes back and her scanner doesn't work, so she has to manually input the numbers, then tells me that it's more than what the Michaels site says. I told her "where is the discount when you sign up?, she was like the machine is excluded from the discount so you have to pay full price. I felt like I was getting jerked around so I fucking left. People often wonder why they don't have jobs and when they do, they don't want to put in the fucking effort. As a man being a prodominately female store I may have stumbled upon a wonderful secret. The secret of this Michaels is it probably the quietest place to take a dump on the whole strip. While bathroom to myself through whole ordeal of pushing out a brown child. While the bathroom could do with some polish and a hard scrub it is fairly clean, stocked and inviting. If I ever decided to commit myself to a life of crime, I would warm up by shoplifting here (practice makes perfect!). As far as I could tell, for the entire store, there were two employees, both working their butts off at the cash register for the line of 10+ customers. I walked around a large part of the store without seeing another employee. So if you have questions, well, sorry, that's not really an option. Figure it out yourself. Otherwise, the store is well-stocked (for your pilfering pleasure if you're into that) and prices are the standard. read more

Dumb cashier wouldn't let my 8 year old son use a damn coupon. She said he isn't an adult. Wtf? But my 13 year old son could use the coupon. WTF? 13 years old, he ain't an adult either! Very helpful staff. I had a girl advise me which isles the items I needed were located and even offered to cut me a foam board to size if I couldn't find what I needed. Kind of expensive though, my foam board cost me $17.99 and I recently found the same product at Walmart for $7.99. Overall I was pleased with my experience here. read more

One more thing... Crafts!!! I would have to say that my love for food is matched by my love for crafts. Here in the islands, we only have a handful of full fledged craft supply stores. Words cannot express how much I wish we had a Michael's store in Hawaii!!! :[ I'm a crafter so I'm always on the lookout for crafty steals and deals. It's awesome that Michael's offers coupons practically every day! And their app is great too. This location is hugeee! They have every craft thing you could possibly need. I had so much fun shopping here. Prices were awesome and a lot of stuff was on sale! I scored on A LOT of beads & cabochons. Plus fimo & sculpey clay! I love the selection of colors. There's NOTHING like this where I live :( Overall I had a great experience here. I wasn't aware of all the coupons, so the cashier even let me know which ones I missed so I could use them. Awesome! After wasting time with Blick's, for the third and LAST time, I called this Michael's to see what alcohol inks they have in stock. Liz H. was very helpful on the phone and took the time to physically check and tell me what colors were in the store from the hard to find Tim Holz collection. They even had the teakwood color I was looking for! Thank you Michael's for salvaging my trip after what would have been a wasted morning driving to Blick's. I'd like to see this Michael's have more selection overall. read more

We prefer this Michaels over the rest because it always seems to be quiet , with short lines at checkout, and extra friendly staff. They have the same deals as the rest of the Michaels, and if you plan your coupon correctly you can get some super cheap stuff. Only wish they opened earlier on Sunday's though , because thats when i do most of my shopping. read more

I called on the phone asking for "ArtResin" a non-toxic casting resin and specifically asked if they had that brand, to where I got "yes and only in jug form. I verified 2 times, then proceeded to go there. Once there I went through the store 2 times before asking where it was to be found. I was sent to the paint ilse where it still wasn't... A young lady helped me and she said that they only have easy cast and this other toxic crap. I asked her to check again since I called in advance and they assured me they have it... She checked and she told me that they don't carry that brand but they have "casting resins". Those bleep bleep bleep bleep lied to me to get me there so they can push some inferior products instead! Great name, friendly folks, and my favorite spot for framing in the city considering the quick turnaround and frequent bargains. Not really 'crafty' as those genes clearly surpassed me and went to my sister, these folks have always been helpful with the limited things I need and although the congested aisles really affect my ADD its something I easily get over considering the quality for the price. read more

I wish I could give this place a 3.5. But since I can't I'll give a 4. First off the location of this Michaels is great and bad. It's close to my house but it's in a Walmart shopping area and everyone and their mother is always at that Walmart. I really like that it's kinda separated they don't have A large selection of yarn here and they don't stock up very often. So make sure you allow time for that in your project, or be prepared to drive to another location .Anyways they have a large selection of frames here that I like and have invested. I really liked the different qualities of frames as well. Anyways to speak of the staff, some of them have been nice and some not so helpful. The store is always clean, and it's easy to get around inside. I will be back to take advantage of the many sales that they have and to try and explore my artsy side. read more

went in to look for ribbon and paint. its impossible to find gray 3/8 inch ribbon! i didnt find it here, but i did find my paint! been looking for a specific color. im gonna decorate my boyfriends graduation cap with san jose sharks colors, but since they changed their color, i have to actually make the color. i asked the manager there what to do, and he made a few suggestions for me. the other store i went to wasnt helpful at all!!! during the entire time i was there, the manager was very helpful. service was great, even at 9am! read more
