Takeaways only these days, for a reason .. and it's not a good one !! We and friends ordered a takeaway meal. It arrived, the order was wrong, some items missing, other things we hadn't ordered. This place is nothing but mind bogglingly fantastic. There is an incredible shortage of decent Asian cuisine in the area. By that I mean there is nothing. I took a punt with this place and it paid off in style. While the decor of the restaurant is slightly dated and not very chique, the food is remarkable. I was gob smacked by the size of the portions when I recently ordered a takeaway. Not to mention the incredibly tasty food. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. read more

The food can be wonderful from here - with a variety of curry, kebabs and pizzas available. The portions are fantastic and definitely offer value for money. Unfortunately recently, the food has become more and mroe salty, which has put my family off buying food from the restaurant, but I will try again in the future as the food was excellent before! read more

I have eaten twice at this Restaurant, and had an excellent meal both times. The room is large but not impersonal. the decor very discreet. The thing I must recommend particularly here is the Nan bread! both visits I ordered a Garlic Nan and both times it was equally huge, crispy, fluffy and delicious. I have eaten the Chicken Madras (just the rigt heat and sourness). The Chicken Vindaloo (hotter and creamier) My wife said that their King Prawn Korma was the best she has had. The starters were good but nothing special (Samosa, Onion Bhaji, Shami Kebab). but when I mentioned that the Raitha was prepared very differently from how I am used to (it was made with tomatoes and onions) they took it back and prepared me a special one to the description I had given them. Draught Kingfisher lager goes very nicely with the food and the prices were not at all unreasonable. read more

This is an absolutely incredible Indian restaurant although we usually tend to order a takeaway and have it delivered. The food is fantastic not as authentic as Jali in Blackpool but a very close second. The portions are huge the chicken tikka main course is massive! and everything is top quality and cooked to perfection. I'm not a huge fan of the atmosphere in the resutaruant as I find it a bit bright and modern for my taste but you really cannot fault the food. It combines the subtle flavours of the spices with amazing sauces and the boiled rice is just wonderful. It is very very reasonably priced and I cannot recommend it enough. read more

Been to Michaels a few times, no w that I have been staying in the area. Hands down the best Indian/ pakistani food in the area. I have tried all 3 take aways down the road in cleveleys and they all are terrible. If you want a lot of good food for cheap, order the Large Chicken Kebab its like 6 pounds and its massive, can feed 3 people. They have really good Chiken tikka as well. i also like their garlic naan, really tasty. I had the dinner for 2 it was pretty nice my gf enjoyed it, I love all the sauces they had too. check this place out, they know what they are doing! read more

Michaels do amazing Indian food and I highly recommend the tandoori mixed grill. As we live some distance away, they still deliver and the food is always to the highest standard. Also worth going for the vindaloo if you can take the heat read more

I tried 'Michael's' for the first time a couple of times when visiting friends,the menu is vast offering a wide range,i tried a curry which was ok . nothing special taste wise, but the quantity did make it good value,and the nan bread was the largest i have ever come across.I would certainly go back again. read more

Amazing food every time from these guys. Rapid service, often delivered within 35 mins and extras supplied. Tandoori chicken to die for, a great jalfrezi and beautiful starters, all with a decent amount of kick you can't get better in the Fylde. read more

This place was recommended by a family friend. I can honestly say this is the nicest Indian takeaway I've ever had. There's a wide variety to choose from and although we'll only sampled a limited selection to date the food so far has been lovely and great value to boot! With some takeaways the sauces are often nondescript and greasy. Sauces at Michaels' are definitely not greasy and you can actually tell what's in the sauces for a chance The naan breads are also a different story! 1 between 2 is easily enough as they are ANOURMOUS!! The only good part about this restaurant is the food.service is terrible I order from here every weekend and the past 5-6 times I ordered something was missing.the last time I ordered from here they didn't have popadoms I called,the woman who answered needs to lose her attitude as she responded with an unacceptable solution and also lied to me as I asked for the manager she said "he is not in today" as my food was going cold the driver pulled up and I asked if the manager was in as I did not believe her,he confirmed the manager was in. I am really upset as the food is genuinely beautiful and I will miss it as I will not be ordering from here again. read more

I go here for one reason only. The Michaels Special Kebab takeaway is sublime. £6.50 and it will feed me and my wife for 2 nights!! Donner, chicken and shish (lamb) with fresh good quality salad in a huge naan bread. The meat is very good quality. It's not a 'dirty' kebab, it's a very decent meal in itself. High recommended. However, I believe there are far better Indian restaurants in the area. Read my other reviews and see. I went here for a curry once with my friend and I've never dined in again. Most of the curries look the same and are not particularly authentic at all. Found mine to be very bland. On the plus side, it's a big place so they would be able to cater for a very large party. But curry's in the UK have come a long way now - this place is still in the dark ages. If you like an old fashioned 'made for UK tastes' curry then go here, but if you're more adventerous there are better places. read more
