Best pizza in town. They have great baked Italian dishes as well as pasta that is so delicious. We left Ferraro's and I'm glad we did.

Something changed. We came here 2 years ago and food was excellent. Lots of good reviews. All 5 dishes tonight were bland. Edible but no flavor. Even chunks of garlic in linguine and clam sauce had no taste. Chicken Francais had no taste. Minestrone soup not as good as previous. Not sure what's up. Awful awful food and experience. My wife and I got takeout and spent $40 on literal garbage. We ordered the bruschetta, Chicken Alfredo and Cheese Ravioli. Everything we ordered had zero flavor. The bread was even awful-how do you screw up garlic bread?! I love food-I never waste it but tonight we threw it all away. i dont know if I've ever done that in my entire life. The best part (worst part) is when I called and talked to Nick the manager he could care less. Said they never get complaints and offered a credit? I laughed and said a credit for more awful food. We ordered to go last weekend. First time ever ordering from here, and it will be the last. We ordered 70$ worth of food, and we ate non of it. When my husband came back from picking it up, we realized they forgot to give him the dozen garlic knots. So I called and had to come back to pick them up. They didn't apologize or offer anything for the inconvenience. When I got back home, we opened up all of our meals. We ordered 2 orders of meatballs, a chicken parm, and a large pizza. Plus the garlic knots. The chicken parm was literally rubber. It was impossible to cut thru. The meatballs were hard and had a weird chemical taste. And the pizza lacked any flavor. I wished I hadn't spent the time and energy to go back up to get the knots, those were super hard and dense, like an over cooked pretzel. Everything was terrible. First two orders for delivery good. Over an hour wait, but this was expected over supper hour rush. Third and final order- pizza was doughy, even though requested well done. All 4 of our family including the 2 year old got sick. Assuming raw dough. Will never feed my family from here again. Disappointing, scary, and not worth the high price you pay. We arrived from Oregon, and heard from friends, MICHAELANGELOS pizza was great. We read the reviews, and agreed we would try it. We ordered pizza and garlic knots. We picked up the pizza right on our given time. We live less than 5 minutes away. The pizza definitely was not hot. Barely warmed up. It had scant onion, mushrooms, peperoni, but, had a whole jar full of black olives on it. You couldn't even find the onion, green pepper or onion. But, there were a 100 olives on it. The sauce was bland, the crust was tough because it wasn't hot. I'll need dental work done now. LOL The garlic knots were like Gumming bread dough. Dry gobs of dough. Very disappointed. Would NOT RECOMMEND. Nor go back. Shoe leather with Ragu would have been better. I'm calling my dentist for dental work tomorrow. LOL read more

This place was found in the Publix Plaza in Parrish. Walking in, you would notice the Michael Angelo repaint of the popular "God reaching touch." in the clouds. We sat down and ordered a warm garlic roll. Delicious!! Then we ordered a pizza with mushrooms. Receiving it: I truly think this may be by far the best hand tossed pizza in West Florida!! The sauce was perfect, not too sweet a little tangy but not too rich. The cheese was awesome! The great taste of freshness. Certainly "Real" mozzarella so authentic and stringy. The crust helps steal your taste buds. Crispy in each bite! Perfectly done all around! If in Parrish or Ellenton Florida, look these guys up!! I highly recommend it. Hadn't ordered delivery in quite a while, so when I ordered a Stomboli a couple weeks ago asked for a current menu. So tonight I called to place a delivery order. First of all, the girl who answered the phone had no familiarity with the menu. I ordered off the menu a Rigatoni alla Vodka (menu price $12.95) and a Chicken Piccata (menu price $14.95). I asked for capellini as my pasta side with the Piccata and she said they didn't have Capellini. I was surprised because they have Capellini Angelina on their menu. I asked if it had been discontinued? She had no idea.She said she was new but they didn't have Capellini, so I said angel hair would be fine. She gave me a total of just under $40. When I questioned the prices she said they had just recently raised their prices. I understand food costs and overhead, but seriously... Two pasta dishes, one without any protein, food cost is less than $5. I was ok paying the published menu prices, but tacking on an additional $5 in menu prices plus another unpublished $5 delivery fee seems deceitful and excessive. I am done. Never again! read more

Michelangelo's has a nice selection of unique thin crust pizzas. I tried the Spicy Chicken Pizza. The crust was soft but lightly crispy, the Buffalo sauce was creamy and flavorful, and the chicken pieces were large and tender. Overall it was a very enjoyable pizza. read more

I'm not sure what the pizza was we got. My husband ordered a veggie pizza with pineapple. Not sure why he did that. Should have been half Hawaiian half veggie but they gave us a vegetarian pizza with some sort of meat substitute with zucchini, spinach which was bitter, broccoli and the pizza just wasn't good. We both finished our slice and tossed the rest. The crust tasted like a good bread dough but not pizza crust. This won't be our new go to Pizza place. read more

Seems to be the best pizza joint in the area I was very pleased with the service that I received inside the location we even ordered a slice or two by themselves to try some of their specialties buffalo chicken was pretty good but not amazing my wife was very pleased with the vegetable pizza a few weeks later we ordered a specialty pie that we would typically eat and it was amazing very impressed in highly recommend giving this place a shot read more

I have been patronizing this restaurant for seven years. My last visit was not the greatest experience. I am mindful of the travails all businesses are going through right now, but there was no excuse for what happened Our waitress, whenever she spoke, pulled her mask down below her chin. Then after playing with her hair, and pulling and constantly touching her mask, placed a drink on the table, which I would not allow my partner to drink. By this point the gloves were useless. I complained to a manager. A few minutes later she came over and stated " I won't be serving you this evening," while pulling down her mask. The waitress started to display an attitude as well. This is the ONLY restaurant that I have been patronizing. This was due to seeing in the past, the measures they were taking. Unfortunately, at least until Covid 19 is eradicated, I will no longer support this business. Apparently management switched my waitress, but didn't admonish her for breaking protocol. I know the owner and staff, and not using the term lightly, I was shocked at the experience. Especially since I have pre-existing conditions. On top of all this, my veal parmesan was like chewing leather. If I had to guess, the cutlets might have been pre cooked to save time. Once reheated they became overdone. Just a guess?
