I called Michles and Booth, because of the ad I heard on the radio about Brian Carter. I thought my issues were so small I never thought Mr. Carter, would talk to me, or that I actually needed a lawyer. But I was wrong. Mr. Carter did sit down with me and talk with about the issues I was having at work, and how I was feeling worried, scared, and frighten about the situation of filing this work comp claim. I was always able to call Mr. Carter, and talk with him, or leave him a message and he would call me back. Or I had the option to talk with his assistant Twanda. She is AMESOME!! She listens, asks questions, talks to you as if you are the most important part of her day. We texted, emailed, and talked on the phone. If need be, she would have Mr. Carter call me back. Twanda, is so easy to talk with and share my fears with. Sarida, came in on my case at the end or closing of my case. She was a great help! Sometimes the things we were talking about went so fast at the end. I would have to say ohh hold on, can you repeat that or explain that to me again. I could just see the smile on her face, even though we were on the phone. I never knew there would be so many different things I would have to do to close my case. and Sarida, is kindhearted and patient in explaining things and I enjoyed working with her as well. Thank you Michles and Booth, for having such great people working for you!

I'd give a negative rating if I could…read more I am a disabled vet and after applying for social security disability, I was denied. SDF law got a hold of my name somehow and contacted me indicating they have a 97% success rate in helping people and all they ask is they get a percentage of whatever back pay might be awarded. The entire process for claimants is a nightmare, intrusive and dehumanizing so I thought it might be nice to have an advocate and I agreed to have them represent me. They've done absolutely nothing that can't easily be done with anyone that can 'point and click' a mouse pad. They have provided little to no information on the process claimants will experience. There has been little to no communication after I was denied - apparently, they assume that we know an appeal will automatically be submitted (something I can easily do on my own - there's a big blue button for it when a claimant logs into the SSA portal). Further, there was no follow-up to the asinine assessment I was subjected to (23 minutes of mumbo-jumbo and reciting the alphabet) which clearly affected the SECOND denial I've received after going through the tortuous process. Even more, I uploaded a kazillion documents to 'prove' my claim and they had no idea about the records I've submitted to the SSA portal? It's been negligent. I called twice last week, left voice mails and received nothing back. The only reason I knew the appeal was submitted was because I logged into the portal and looked for myself. The lady they assigned to my case acted as though she was bothered by a phone call (I had only talked with her one time for less than five minutes). She said she speaks to thousands of people on her case load (well, that explains a lot) and doesn't remember everyone. I was afraid it was a scam and I was right. You have been warned.
